Ok, Farscape rocks. I just watched the season 4 finale which has been made into the series finale because Sci-Fi channel decided to be sucky and cancel this show.

OK I have to rant now. What the FRELL is with that ending? I mean the episode is rocking. Right? Even has a tearjerker moment when John talks to his dad. And then you just cheer when Aeryn says the baby is his and he proposes. Then they get FRIED!!! WHAT THE FRELL IS THAT? Wait just a MICROT and tell me WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? And then what? It says “TO BE CONTINUED” No it won’t. BECAUSE IT WAS CANCELLED! Evil evil evil evil evil evil! ARGH!
UPN… you have a spot to fill since Buffy is going bye-bye. Pick up Farscape! SOMEONE PICK UP FARSCAPE!
Now to go don all black and send pictures to Sci Fi with “YOU ARE EVIL” signs.

ITA. Looks like Sci Friday is down to Star Gate. Sci Fi channel is going to regret this move. Tremors? Really? I think not! The first movie was OK, sure… but it has steadily gone downhill and now they are making some lame series? Forget it!
I can’t believe that ending. UGH! Wonder what they were planning for that Season 5 that isn’t going to be done now?

I don’t know what they were planning.. but these last 11 episodes were really great in my opinion..
I hope someone else picks the show up.
Although I wonder how they planned on John and Aeryn surviving that attack/neutralization. Kind of hard to imagine farscape without John and Aeryn

yes.. very weird.. I just got done watching the second airing of farscape.. my wife wanted to watch it.. so I sat down to watch it with her.
She just asked me.. what was that being that attacked them.. I said.. I’m sure if there was a 5th season.. we’d have found out about it.
She’s all upset now.. she said at least they could have modified the end of this episode so it wasn’t a ‘to be continued’. She’s like ‘that’s it?’ how can you end the series with a to be continued??
the creature said.. neutralization run.. and also indicated they wanted to study them. so I’m guessing that the creature had technology to put them back together (reanimate them) ..
But I have the same questions as you.. how do the get out of this one.. will the baby be effected? Who was it that ‘attacked’ them? Is Scorsosa (sp?) dead now?

Exactly my thoughts. I thought maybe Dargo overpowers the guy and is able to put them back together. But I worried about what would happen with the baby. I even thought “oooh, what if they put the two back together wrong and John ends up being pregnant????” hehehe good plot twist, eh? Then I thought “What if neutralization was just death… no better way to neutralize a threat than to kill it outright before it can fight back.” You know, they could just want to study remains. But I’m SURE that is not the case as we can’t have a show without John.
Ugh I’m with your wife. You should have heard me screaming at the TV. I threw something. I definately think they should have modified the ending. Or just left it where they were all happy happy joy joy engaged. Just cut out that whatever that was attacking. How dare they end a series with a “to be continued”. That’s just wrong.
Maybe Sci Fi will realize they are a bunch of idiots and do a miniseries. I mean, if they make it as long as Taken, that is almost a whole season… hehehe Gosh I hope they do something. How infuriating!
