**LJ Idol Season 4 Week 9 Entry: My Scars**
With a topic of “My Scar”, I’m not sure just what I am supposed to think. Such a deeply personal question. People have different feelings towards ownership, and it leaves me questioning where to begin.
Is it right to seek ownership of such a thing? Deciding this weighty matter sets you on a particular path, and once on that path you cannot turn back. For right or for wrong, for good or for ill, your decision has been made. You must face the consequences.
It will change the way you see the world around you. Once you saw the world as through the eyes of a child. Now you have faced major adult decisions and made them yours. Interpersonal relations, political leanings, feelings of safety and security all hinge on this one single decision. Sometimes you lose friends, change crowds, as you become a different person than you were yesterday.
Will you grasp on, claiming ownership, knowing your world will forever change?
Arguments steam extensive debates. Many say ownership is not needed, while others claim the utter necessity towards ownership and the rights extended to each and every person.
Just where do I stand on ownership? I say reach out, and grasp it. Claim it as your own. Make it an extension of your person, and it will become a part of your person.
Here is a picture of mine:
Yes, I love my SCAR. It takes a real woman to handle this kind of combat assault rifle, and I’m most definitely a real woman. I claim ownership proudly, not hiding this away. I feel no shame, no regrets, no sorrow at the sight of my SCAR. Instead, it brings me great happiness and fulfillment.
Feel it, stroke it, accept it, love it.

*Enjoy this LJ-Idol post. If you find it intriguing, please vote for me. If not, that’s cool. Comment away. BTW This is by no means indicative of my feelings on 2nd Amendment rights, nor an opening to 2nd Amendment discussions. This is completely indicative of my feelings of being just plain weird. But watch out, or my friends pictured above and I might use you for target practice! 😉

Talk about opening a can of worms… yikes!
I decided to go against the grain. Welcome to my world!
Now, back to the grindstone. I scheduled some good time this morning to writing blog essays while sipping on cocoa in my waterbed. Yes, sexy lingerie is my work uniform as are the bunny slippers! *GRINS*

There is a picture
I probably should have tagged it better. Please accept my humblest appologies.
There’s a picture with three hot babes in cammo bikinis and raybans toting AK-47’s.
SCAR is an acronym for Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle.
Just me… being weird! LOL

Yeah, looks close there at teh bottom of the tribe, but I think I was in the safety zone with two people below me. I thought for a minute I was tied with two others for second to last, but I saw someone else below…
We’re getting to the point where I am scraping the barrel. Need to do something stunning so the Idol people vote for me… LOL I sure don’t have the friends list to compete otherwise!

Re: Thank you!
I was pretty low this past week. But that’s fine. I don’t know what I’m going to do this week. This “topic” sounds more like a panel discussion at a convention as opposed to an essay topic. So we’ll see what I come up with.

Re: Thank you!
See, I don’t think it’s really that interesting. Maybe because I’ve sat in while bloggers discussed this in panels. Invariably you get one person who’s like, “It’s my blog and if I want to post nakkie pictures or say you’re an @$$hole, that’s my perogative!” and someone else yells back and says, “No, you need to have some decorum and think of your readership.” and then someone else says, “Well I didn’t think enough people were paying attention to me so I faked my death on LJ” and then another that says, “Blogs are only successful if you have one theme so figure that out and stick with it and you should always edit and never post chats and it should be professional.”
OK, so the one with the guy who faked his death was cool. LOL He was an interesting dude.

lol… I know, I was just being snarky. That’s the one failing of the internets… no tone. lol…
I didn’t hear about the guy that faked his death. I guess that’s one way to up your readership.

Re: Thank you!
HEHE Yeah you are right. I did the SAME thing. I read it and was like “Oh this is a FABULOUS topic!” Then rolled my eyes. Sarcasm is truly lost on the net. *SIGH*
OMG, the guy who faked his death… yeah. He said his friends list was as full as you can get it. LJ would not let him add any more. Could you imagine? And he felt he wasn’t getting enough love so he up and faked his death. Some people will do anything. But he was on a panel with two chics that liked to post nakkie pictures on their LJ, so I guess he felt the need to do SOMETHING to compete. HAHA I mean naked girls or some dude you don’t see… yeah… HAHAHA I don’t know when he did it, but the panel was at Dragoncon in 2004. LOL
