I just wanted to let you guys know I”m trying like mad to finish my costume for this weekend’s convention. I’ll be live and sewing on and off all day. Feel free to drop in and see me. 🙂

I’m cleaning my office and printing/mailing resumes. Yes, this will take all day. Office hasn’t been cleaned since Christmas.
I just wish I didn’t have to return to work so quickly. I wish I could just take a month off and be done with it…

I understand that. I’m working on my costume. I now have the skirt squares cut out. You know what? I ended up with way more than I thought I would! I didn’t know if it would be enough. I was hoping for at least enough to do a skirt piece every two inches. My friend and i figured we needed at least 16. I ended up with over 20. Woot. I think I have enough. YAY.
I’m going to head over to my friend’s house soon for some further advice. Though just on the phone she helped a lot. I think I’m really good to go, but she’s going to go over a few things with me. I think she’s going to loan me her serger so I can whip up some nice more finished edges.
I’m so excited to have this thing done. HAHA
If I finish it today I’ll send you a pix on your phone.
