I loved the first movie. I even got my book club to read the book last spring. I highly recommend the movie and the book. I haven’t heard that the sequel to the book has come out (it is totally different from the second movie, it has her trying to get an internship in Arizon at a power firm) so I haven’t read that. It may be out but I have not heard. I’ll probably buy it and add it to my reading stack though when it comes out.

Needless to say excitement abound when I heard about Legally Blonde 2 Red White and Blonde. I had secretly hoped to get it for Christmas. But with the laptop I really didn’t expect much else. That’s fine, I went and got it yesterday at the Blockbuster previewed DVD sale! HEHE.

Just finished watching it and I loved it. About as good as the first! Of course being from DC I love people trying to “spice up DC” it is always a hoot. (So yup, want to see Head of State as well!) This was great. Awesome in everything, even when they reused things such as Elle’s passion for making everything scented!

I highly recommend both movies. Make it a double feature!

HEHE I’m not familiar enough with the second one as I’ve only watched it once, so no real quotes for you. But I do love this scene when this conservative southern congressman stands up and shouts “I’m OUT! My dog is gay!” HEHEHE In the MIDDLE of a meeting! HEHE (His large rottweiler or whatever fell in love with Elle’s tiny chiuahua.)

Only problem was that my stomache hurt and so I couldn’t laugh near as much as I would have liked.
