I got to PTO last night and the principal had a cute little Christmas gift for me. It’s this really ADORABLE little snowman. He’s got a blue and white striped hat and scarf. He’s hugging a candy cane. Talk about way cute. I’m going to put him with my Christmas stuff so I can have that happy memory every Christmas. (Plus he’s less likely to disappear from little kidlets walking off with him!) He has a little hangy loop so I can hang him on my tree.

I just have to comment that my kids are so lucky. They have really a top notch school with a great teacher base and a wonderful office staff. The principal is just wonderful and sweet and one of those women that is just a joy to know. She’s very approachable by the parents AND the students. I love that. With this levy crud going on and people just slinging mud, it is sad. Because I don’t know about the other schools but ours is just great. And our “overpaid” staff? Well let me tell you, our principal is worth every dime of her frozen pay. She’s worth every single dime. I love being a part of our school and on the PTO.
