Didn’t think of this…

Got this email (Names shortened to first initial…) (DiPietro’s is the evilness tire/service center)

Hello everyone!

On the way to work today, J said he noticed evidence of runoff from
DiPietro’s parking lot. I’m thinking this is something which certainly should
be explored.

Do you think the sewage issue can in any way be linked to the tire store? Did
people’s basements flood before the store went in? Have any other changes taken
place which might have caused the basements to flood?

L

Well come to think of it the first flood problem was actually just last fall. Which would be after a lot of DiPietro’s work had been underway. In fact we did have that something like 3.5 weeks of strait rain in May/June and I didn’t hear of any flooding then!! All DiPietro had managed to do at that point was just move dirt… Hmmm. But almost all of last year the creek was EXCEEDINGLY high. I mean we started the year off in January with an insane amount of precipitation and it kept up all 12 months just about. Yet the first flooding was in something like August or September? (I have the date, just dont’ remember it)

Even more worrisome… just what is mixed into this run off? What could it contain and how is that going to affect our neighbourhood children? Our groundwater? Hmmm

Any thoughts?

ANd oh crap. The troublemaker news caller lady is now a trustee. Thank gosh I’m moving.
