The sun came out today and it was warm and wonderful! So we had a busy busy day!

I started off with going to my neighbour’s to get the directions to where they got their dirt and mulch from. Thought that would only take a couple of minutes. Nope. The older woman two houses up was wandering the neighbourhood and got sick. So we had her laying down on their front stoop and ended up having to get an ambulance out for both her and her sister. But this woman was screaming she didn’t want to go home or to the hospital. It was so sad.

So I did finally make it and i got a bunch of top soil, peat moss, and mulch. The guys unloaded it for me. Yay! They are going to help me landscape. I figure I’m in good hands because WOW… they have an awesome yard. And they got something to treat their yard for the horrible dandilion infestion of 2004 and there’s enough to do my yard too so they were going to do that for me as well. I love those guys. I’ll miss them when we move. 😦

I weeded and weeded and almost finished. I have just around one more bush and then to even up the in front of window part of bushes. My hands and knees were killing me though so I didn’t finish it up. I came inside to get something to drink and to take a rest when this sister from the ward called.

That led me to heading over to the car dealer with her to try to help her get rid of her ghastly expensive truck and get a sensible car. Her husband insisted upon this insanely huge and expensive truck and then he left her and the truck. She’s been having a heck of a time so I went with her to the dealership where we got my brick on wheels. They are trying what they can. yay!

Then I had promised the boys dinner if they were good. Well they were mostly good. So on the way we stopped at camera/telescope store. I bought a yellow filter to try to see Jupiter’s red spot next time I’m looking. It should pull out the red a lot more. WOOT… I also drooled over the cameras.

Dinner came next. Boys voted chinese buffet. WOOT. Good eats.

While there we walked to the computer store. I needed to pick up a couple things. Most importantly a farking colour cartridge for my printer. Daggum it it’s been empty for ages and I kept forgetting to freaking buy or order one! LOL. They had a shredder on sale for 15 bucks and my fingers hurt from turning credit card offers and stuff into confetti. I wanted to wait to buy a shredder until after we moved but I just decided for 15 bucks to go for it. I mean if it turns out I don’t want to move it, I’ll leave it for the new people and buy a new one. 15 bucks to save my fingers for almost two months is way worth it in my book. I also discovered laying hidden on a random shelf a stick of laptop ram for a really good price. 512. Man I shouldn’t have but I snagged that sucker. But so worth it. Now I have 704 megs of ram. Bring on the Photo Shop! 🙂 (I have a vid card that ganks some of my ram.)

Then with my feet killing me I came home. Hooked up on the ram, shredder, ink thing and now i sit… relaxing. I think I earned my relaxing today though! 🙂 And by golly I better fall asleep!
