Hasta La Vista sucky derailed Chris of evil-not evil-kinda evil.
OK… so no real cliffhanger, other than “What on earth is going to be the aftermath of Leo killing Gideon.” question. Especially in front of Wyatt. And what did Gideon mean with that whole “You don’t know what you’ve done” sorta dumdumdum moment just before he crumpled? Hmmm.
But now hopefully the future is changed. So Wyatt does not go evil. And hopefully Leo will be more mindful of doing stuff with Chris like he does with Wyatt. And thus the Chris we know would no longer exist. Which explains the fading away he did. If he had just died… he’d still be there. But he never existed. Of course he was born on a totally different day… two days… I mean something would have to happen and I think a fading is much better than seeing his body like freak out…
So anyway they wrapped things up nicely. Chris has been taken care of. Piper and Leo maybe can make up and all. Wyatt is safe. The future is safe. Only thing we didn’t do was get Phoebe’s active powers back.
I will tell ya… black/white creepiness. I mean… way creepy. Very mucho creepy on both sides. I did enjoy evil world Chirs. He still looked unwashed and stuff… but gosh evil just fits him. So wish they hadn’t derailed his character… though I must admit by this episode the actor seemed to be into the new character and did much better. It was just a lot smoother by this point. It was sooooo rough for a while when they first made things all hinkey.
At some point I’m going to watch the entire season boom boom boom and dump the episodes from my DVR. (I was saving them to figure out who/what Chris was but didn’t really need to after they changed Chris to be the second child after Holly got pregnant but I still kept them. Talk about lots of hours I could free on my dvr! HAHA!

At the beginning of the season I didn’t like him because he was 1. so obviously evil but not cool like Cole when he was evil 2. I don’t like the actor 3. He always looked dirty. Seriously have issues when people look diseased.
But by midseason when his character hit the skids and got totally derailed I’ve liked him less and less.
Free that guy up to 1. shower 2. move on to hopefully biggr and better things (not that his last gig was great either…)

Things I learned from the last charmed episode.
1) Daylight = Good..
2) Nightime = Evil..
Questions I have from this realization.
Does this mean when there’s less daylight during winter that Evil is gaining the upper hand?
Ok.. Chris faded away.. as if he never existed.
Except, if he didn’t come back in time.. then Leo would have never become an elder.. the Titans would still be running rampart and we’d have an alternate universe anyway..
I wish they would have spent a bit ‘more’ time covering the ‘evil’ sisters in the parallel worlds.. personally if they were exact duplicates ala “Crighton squared”.. then they would make the same decisions.. exactly.. however I have trouble with that because ‘Evil’.. has different motivations..
I still think the writers intent was that ‘evil’ wyatt came from the ‘evil’ world.. and the ‘good’ wyatt was over there..
There would have been a couple of scenes that would have been fun..
Evil Leo being paralized by hope.. of what his son will become..
Where do the writers come up with this stuff? We have the Power of 4?????
um.. so does that mean that 2 pheobe’s and 2 Paiges are more powerfull than the “power of 3” with Pheobe , Paige and Piper?
If so.. why haven’t they run into a set of demons with a ‘power of 4’. abilities?
The episode was ok.. not great.. not bad.. but somewhere in between.
My issue with the series is that the ‘world’ has no consistency.. they just make things up as they go.. in order to provide as many twists and turns as they can..

It used to be good and fairly consistant but then they just started making things nuts, especially this season. I still think they should have kept it simple. They tried way too hard. Way too hard. And you can tell. Stuff doesn’t go together right. There are big gaping holes. Unanswered questions. I just think they tried too hard.
Like you I’d have loved more exploration of the dark side. Just for fun next year they should do an entire darkside episode or arc. Wouldn’t that be a riot? I think so!
I wont’ get into the whole paradox of the Chris did/did not come back thing. Shows NEVER cover this and frankly it is definatley a headache! 😉 But I totally agree… the power of 4?
