Today was my last MOPS meeting. Not just here in Columbus, but totally. In just three weeks I’ll have two official all day full time school boys. How did this happen? Aren’t I only supposed to have little guys? Right? *SIGH* So big. So fast.
OK… first off, it was wonderful. Second off, they gave the four of us graduate mum’s a gift. A little journal type thing that asks questions that you are supposed to answer. It is for your kids. I’ll try to post it to my moblog in the next day or so. It was sweet. Thank you. I also took a pen that has this year’s theme on it. I’ll use that to write in this book. It’s a sweet book. All four of us graduate mum’s got one and we’ve all been there almost the whole time this MOPS group has been around.
Now… on to the rest. I’m gonna just write this real quick. Otherwise I’ll start crying again. I was crying as I hugged people. Ok… anyway… get this out. MOPS was great. The people in this group were better than anything in the whole world. I was in MOPS in Ashland, but this group was 50 times the group that one was. The people were all loving and caring and I just can’t just describe. They stood right by my side when Caramon had cancer. They brought my family so much food. They visited in the hospital. They called me up and they watched Joram and they were just wonderful. Thank you. I think I am the woman I am today partly because of you. If you have a child not in school, go to MOPS. K? OK… no more. I’ll start to cry. I’m so sad to be leaving MOPS. And especially because I won’t even get to see the gals since I’m moving.
