The school hosted a volunteer luncheon. Since I did stuff this year I was invited. It was so sad. I went and saw people I have had the pleasure of working with on various things for the last two years. I just don’t know how to express my sadness at leaving C.E.S.

The luncheon was WONDERFUL. Such yummy italian food and goodies. And of course visiting with teachers, volunteers, staff.

I just want to say that I love the school. The staff is top notch. The teachers are a treasure. And the kids are just delightful. I hope the next school is even half of this one. And I hope I can find a place to fit in and help out like here. I really was carving out a little niche for myself there. Slowly, but it was coming along. *SIGH*

I did get a going away gift. A candle because of the light I’ve offered (more like the light they’ve offered me!), a Pay Day candy bar to prove that I was indeed paid for my efforts, and a box of chocolates we won’t even get into because.. hello YUM.

Thank you, Lisa, for the gift. You were a great PTO President and a wonderful example of what a parent should be like. I’ll try to follow your example as I move on. I’ll think of you and the rest of the gang with fond memories.
