I wanted to set a component on my LJ that would show my latest moblog entry. I cannot seem to get it to work. But I have seen it work with other’s LJ’s. Is there a way to add a component that I’m not seeing? Hmm.

I’m kind of bored with my LJ. I want to spice it up. And especially since my website is down… I’m sending more pictures to my moblog and thought that would be fun… *SIGH*

Well, I’m done fiddling for now. I need to go do something else. Like sort kiddie clothes or something dreadfully useful. Yuck.

I do want to say that I went to the camera/telescope store. I picked up the attachment that allow me to put my camera onto my telescope! I can’t wait to truly test this out! Hoping for great astro pictures!! A bunch of clouds and haze moved in today so baaaah. Nothing. GRRR. Oh well. I’d like to get some before movign so I can take them in to show off. But otherwise I guess I’ll just have to email the shots. In one week though I will be in VA with a farm in the country to take advantage of! Mwahahaha. Of course I’ll need to find a compass. Or learn to find the farking north star. (I’m seriously not able to do that. Everything looks like a dipper to me. Or at least I swear I see like four instead of two.)

I showed my camera store people my pictures I’ve taken recently. They complimted me on the shots. I felt so proud! They said I’m taking really great pictures! They really liked the fireworks one. They said I need to work on framing my shot. Yeah, but hopefully with the new tripod I should have better luck. I’ve mostly taken things with no tripod so far. I tried to take the ones of Lynda with the tripod, but it was just too low for portraits. And of course I didn’t haul the tripod to the game or anything. I’m going to try my hand at some landscapes as soon as I have some free time. Emphasis on the free time. But anyway, since the camera store people were impressed, that meant a lot to me!

I did print off a couple of my night shots there. I also looked at an attachment for more zooming. EEEK we won’t discuss the price. Made me sweat a little. I’ll have to go search froogle or something!

I went over to MicroCenter after that to show my prints to my guy there. He liked them. He said it is a good thing I’m moving otherwise I’d be competing with him! LOL. I wanted to show them to a gal there but she was busy. Maybe she’ll be in next week. Who knows. I’m so busy!!

I wish my site was up so I could post some of these pictures. *SIGH* I should just photoshop, shrink, and put on my moblog. Maybe if I get time I’ll do that. 🙂 I like keeping my moblog “current” and “live” feeling but *Eh* do what I must to survive.

Oh I did find a setting on my camera I could of sworn it had but couldn’t find! WOOHOO. I know sad… so many features. I found how to set it to B/W, Sepia, blackboard, and whiteboard. Cool! At least I wn’t have to buy a sepia filter! 🙂 Since filters are cheaper, I might go buy a few filters for effects. (Yes I know PS does a lot of that but I’d love to be able to get some of the fun filters.) I guess I need to get some paying shoots to afford myself the more pricey attachments.. hehe.

Anyway, feel good about picture compliments. Am excited about my new attachment. Am just happy with said stuff. 🙂
