1. DH did NOT write the correct IP down for the router. Figured it out.
2. Strait MAC’d it. Put in our three MAC addresses
3. Tested… can only get on with right MAC.
4. Walked almost totally to back bedroom, still great signal strength.
So… once more have wireless access to net. WOOOOOOOT. And I made it super secure. WOOOOOT. Though I’ll probably ask them for a good passcode for a WEP so I can also WEP just because.
I also changed the name… NETGEAR just is LAME LAME LAME. I’ll double check my name I gave is OK. No I didn’t name it Virus Center like my neighbours or BUGGER OFF or anything like that. 🙂 So anyway…

Yeah I wish I was there so I could fix up Belle’s puter for her. I have to be cheaper then the comp doc she is using. Plus I have ulterior motives of wanting Belle back to keep me working hard! *GRINS*

Which is why I’m also going to WEP. WEP is easier to spoof sure but hopefully WEP and MAC combined will help. 🙂
