Mum and I ended up cleaning this afternoon. Totally didn’t plan on it but suddenly there we were trying to put some stuff away in her laundry room and failing and she starts hauling stuff off hangers and I had to go for bags! EEEK. Well four large 30 gallon bags to donate and 2 to go to the dump later… we were done. Somehow we did all her clothes in the washroom and then moved to her dresser and then to her hall linen closet! Well now she has room in her dresser to put stuff away! And there are empty shelves in that linen closet! And the laundry room is looking much better! What the heck happened? We have no idea… we were just talking about something and so she went to find it and couldn’t and boom… there we were! HAHA.

So we rewarded ourselves. We played another level of Riddick. Yay Riddick! That was after collapsing and just cooling off since it was MEGA humid today. I mean so humid I swear you could see the water in the air. WHich means I had a heck of a time breathing. This cleaning was fairly easy because I was able to sit/stand and hold the bag open or fold clothes. Didn’t hurt till we moved the bags and I had to schlep. I was gasping for oxygen. I hate bloody humidity. It is impossible to breathe.

Tonight we had 4th of July fun planned with my friend Stephanie. Us girls went to this Indian restaurant and had a bunch of stuff. No I don’t know what it was. It was YUMMY is all I know. Then it was back home and Stephanie and I scooped up the kids and went downtown. There’s something about watching the fireworks over the town where our first president grew up… cool. Of course we had the unfortunate circumstances of a raunchy country channel being played. At least it was patriotic music… but ugh! They did play “Proud to be an American” thankfully! But they kept playing this horrible wailing of the chorus “Land of the free home of the brave” from the national anthem. I mean it was bad. We cringed every time they played it. Now I don’t know the last song they did… it was weird, and very country. But it was about how America will survive or something and that was kind of cool. We will… the USA ROcKS! Yay America! ๐Ÿ™‚

Now on the way home we saw a bunch of bozo’s heading into the parking lot of the old hospital. We couldn’t figure out where they were going! Were they thinking it was a shortcut? Boy were they going to be disappointed when they saw it was just a lot at what used to be an ER! HA! Like 10 cars headed that way. We were cracking up. Of course we didn’t take any of the usual ways… the nice thing about all the transplants is they don’t know the good ways to go. Woohoo Harrison road! All the dorks were going up Route 3. Well you blokes have fun, we’re going another way. Traffic sucks now that the city has grown so much but no one seems to go the alternate paths! HA! Yay locals! I need to get out and just drive around to remember all the little paths and stuff, but I’m definately better off than a lot of these people! But it only took me half an hour to get us back here. Yay! I know if I’d taken the usual way home down route 3 it would have taken WAAAAY longer!

Well happy 4th all! Be safe!
