Last day, we had lots going on. My SIL and her husband and son are staying up there the whole week but we had to get back for Sir Megabyte to get back to work in the morning. So we hung around in the morning looking at pictures. A bunch were like “Eh” but there were some fun ones. We found one of my FIL doing something goofy that looks like something Joram just recently did. So I swiped it, promising to get it back to him. I am hoping to take it to Ritz and get it copied and maybe put into digital format so I can play with the two images. I also found a picture of my FIL and my MIL when they first got married. I’d like to make some copies of it. I’ll send them out to Renee and Jared after I do that. We even found a picture of Sir Megabyte right before he met me. It’s the only time he’s ever looked like his brother, Jared. We had to look twice to make sure it was Sir Megabyte and not Jared! ROFL.

FIL had invited his whole family in for a BBQ and they started flooding in around 1:30. We had a great lunch, said our hellos, and snapped some family portraits. I do now have a picture of my FIL and all his grandsons. So hopefully this time when I edit with PS, it will be better. I’ll have to get to work on that soon so that I can send it up with Sir Megabyte in a few weeks when he returns for the fishing trip. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this one. I need to give it a different background. If anyone has any ideas, please comment.

In other news, we were woken up with a phone call from my MIL informing us that Danielle had her baby! A week early and it WAS a girl! YAY! Gabrielle Ray. Don’t ask me what kind of middle name that is or if it is spelled right. I love the name Gabrielle, I even like Gabby as I’m sure she’ll be called eventually. Though right now they are saying no. Which led us to shortening names because someone said she’d probably still be called Gabby and Renee got snotty. “No she won’t, they want it to be Gabrielle.” I said “Yeah well I like my name but you guys all shorten it.”

I must say, it was rather nice having them there because no one asked us about Caramon which I had been expecting what with it being the first time he’s been out there since getting sick. No one even commented on how good he looked and they were glad he was doing well! Renee’s husband took all that light since he just had his surgery and everything this year. Good! It gets kind of tiring sometimes, even though they mean well. I had prepared myself for a lot comments and we didn’t get any, except from FIL and his wife. Oh and StepMIL’s father did comment because he just lost his left kidney six weeks ago so he talked to Caramon about that. But that was the extent.

OK… time to head home!
