It is nice to have someplace to go when you are feeling happy or sad or frustrated or anxious or something. Sometimes people just need to get stuff out and then they feel all better again! I know I’m that way. I’ve noticed I journal better now that I do it on the computer. I can’t believe that I’ve kept such an up to date journal for so long!! I’ve had my LJ for 17 months yesteray. Wow.

I don’t know how many people actually read my daily rants on my crazy life or if anyone ever takes me seriously. Most likely not. If I ever provide humour though, I’m glad. I know I can be corny from time to time! Bwahahaha.

Our Prophets have told us to keep a journal. I have struggled so hard over the years. I mean what the heck am I going to say that will ever interest anyone. I understand that recording your life can be good for future generations. I know that sometimes those stories from long ago can really enlighten you. Seeing what others went through helps you to understand the past more. It also makes history come alive when it is more than just dates and places. I’ve learned more history from people and going to places and seeing where people did something.. it makes it more real to me. I’m better able to remember that way.

I know sometimes I just rant to get things off my chest and not really record anything of real importance. It is good to know you are not alone in some things. One day I had a bad driver experience and posted about it and one of my LJ friends (you know who) had a similar experience that day! I’m glad i have an outlet!!! We all know how journals can be…

I guess there is a reason why shrinks tell you to keep a journal.

Anyway… synopsis? Journaling = good for history, good for health, good all around. Yay journals!!

Now I’m stressed but I’m tired and need sleepy time. So I’m heading to bed. I can’t wake up in the morning to see what my LJ friends have posted! 🙂 Shout out to all my LJ friends… you guys all rock! ((HUGS))
