I’m bloody 29. Why the heck do I already get hot flashes? This is just not right. I broke out in a sweat in Linens and Things today. What the freak????
Ok, so mum hurt her back at Linens and Things, I’m not sure how. So we came home. But we had a good time earlier today. We went to Kenmore. I shot a few photos, but since I didn’t really walk the grounds I didn’t get much but what is at the entry way. Then we went to the stitchery meeting. One woman brought the most wonderful America quilt. In the center were the three ships. She included things for the founding fathers and the original 13 colonies and there was red, white, and blue! Wonderful! She entered it into a competetion and didn’t win anything. Personally I think if she didn’t win anything holy smokes what was at the competition? This quilt was one of the most amazing things I have seen!!! And it was hand done. Oh yeah at the top was a small Statue of Liberty. Wow. Well, she gets honourable mention here in my blog… I’m just blown away at what must have been there.
We then worked on bonnets. OK, I swear, year of the bloody bonnets! They made them in Ohio this spring for Church. There was talk of making them at Church here. And now at the Kenmore group? ROFL. Just one of those things, when it rains it pours! And the bonnets are pouring!! Hey works well… helps the sun stay off the face, right?
We needed to get some lunch and wait for the doctor’s office to open back up so we went to the Parthenon. Mmm… gyros and baclava… yummy. So my tummy is making all kinds of “yummy” pleased noises. Then we dropped into the doctor’s and picked up the paperwork from the appointment last week. The final stuff needed to complete the boys’ registration at school. We stopped into Linens and Things in Central AUGHHHH because mum’s cell was acting wonky and she also turned the wrong way onto the highway. So we decided to try Massaponnax another time. We did find her a big skillet, but we have a few other things we need. However since her back was hurt we didn’t stop by Cingular to gripe about her phone (again!) or do any of the other stuff planned. We came home and then I ran back out and took the paperwork to the school.
I think I’m going to lay down with my water since I’m still hot, and just read some. Yay!
My plans for tonight got hijacked due to apparently half the newspaper staff (ha! bet she feels like it at least) taking off and leaving my friend to fend for herself! She’ll be working so since I’m having cramps and wonky hot flashes we think we’re going to postpone stamp club. That’s ok, stamp party at Amy’s on Saturday to make up for it! WOOHOO!
All right… hopefully my head will start to feel better, it’s been a bit migrainey today as well. Gah!
