And I swear about 80% are of people I did not see. I was all over the bloody con. I left my room by around 9AM and didn’t go back until after 1 AM every night. How the heck did I miss all these people? This is how packed this dang con was. This is one unfortunate thing when the con is so packed you can barely get through lobbies and hallways due to the press of people. Being only five foot four doesn’t help either.
As a costumer, I love cons for seeing people running around in their costumes. Mostly what I saw at DragonCon was a plethora of SG Personnel, Storm Troopers, and Predator/Alien things (The one with all the things coming out of the head… I never watched those movies… so whichever one that was).
Of course, I’ve noticed that I have pictures others don’t have. Wonder if they just didn’t want to take pictures of those costumes or if they didn’t see them.
I wish there was some way to improve this situation. I mean good golly, I apparently missed hundreds of good costumes. This saddens me. Now I did see the naughty Strawberry Shortcake and friends. But I wasn’t at a good angle to get the picture, plus since they were kind of naughty I didn’t know if I wanted to try to take their picture since I keep my website so “family oriented”. Perhaps if I’d been able to get in for a good shot, I might have gone ahead. The costumes were beautiful. But you know what? Haven’t seen any pictures of them!!!
Insane. Simply Insane.
Too. Many. People.
And it’s Wed and I’m STILL feeling overheated. That’s how hot it was. There were several times I thought I might pass out. Ugh. You know it is hot when you step outside onto the Georgia sidewalk to COOL OFF!
I’m enjoying viewing pictures though. I hope photognome hurries up and posts more.
I promise to try to do better at the next con I go to. Hopefully I won’t have the insane crush of people choking the breath from me as I struggle to make my way somewhere!!
