With my father working nights and weekends, we need to take the boys out. We have a few errands, but nothing that will take us THAT much time (hopefully). We need to get Caramon a new pair of tennies because he put a hole in his. We also need to get them both new scissors as apparently the ones I bought don’t cut at all. Yeah, the whole point of scissors, I know! LOL.

Sir Megabyte needs boot bootstrings as well as some insoles. He says he’s got some kind of a callus from his boots. He’s hoping maybe insoles will work but he might possibly need new shoes. I know NOTHING about insoles as I just buy shoes and wear them until they die and then buy new shoes. My last pair of boots lasted me from High School until just this past February. Yeah that’s something like um… 11 years at least. ROFL. So I don’t even know where to go looking for stuff.

I’ve found a couple of local bead shops we are going to try. They didn’t have some of what i wanted at Michael’s. Aside from some other projects, I really want to make myself something with the Triquetra for Charmed. (Wonder if that woke up my beloved sisters, as Paige’s post did not? HEHE) I only work with silver though as 1. I prefer it and 2. for some reason gold and gold toned items give me trouble. I’ve got some ideas in my head of what I want, but not sure where to get the supplies I would like. I’ll know it when I see it! But mostly I really need a bloody triquetra!

Sir Megabyte needs shoes for his costume. Now this is where it gets tricky. I can’t seem to find a good store for leatherworking or what have you to get said shoes. I mean this is not something you can prance into say Payless for. Mostly I’m getting historic sites. *SIGH* Perhaps when we’re downtown on Caroline St we can look and see if there’s anything? Gaaah. I’m so frustrated. Any reinactors with advice other than “Go to the Maryland Ren Faire and spend a billion dollars” would be MORE than welcome!!!

So I need to get going… that’s our plans for today. Four hours to kill, think we’ll manage? (Of course taking men to a shoe store could take up four hours.. EeEK Men and shoe stores… *SHUDDER* I only hope there is not a sale. I’ll never drag them out!)
