Have I mentioned how much I love Farscape? Rock on! I’m making my way through season 4 now. Today Grandma blew some dust at some bad guys and they thought she was a hot babe doing the dance of the 7 veils or something. She said “I am de woman, you are de man” and John and Dargo saw it and screamed. ROFL…
This plan is so bad, it HAS to be ours!
Yeah… well it’s been a total Farscape couple of weeks. But now I’m sad, it is drawing to a close. *SIGH* I can’t believe the miniseries is so soon! It’s coming quick, though it seems like it took forever for us to get it…
So other than Farscape, I’ve been trying to read. And other stuff. Whew.
What am I going to do next week? ROFL…
I might have to… *GASP* be a real person! Go around and do errands and stuff again! Oh the horror!
In other news, I went out yesterday to have lunch with someone. Mmm Thai food. Anyway, after that I ran to return a couple of things. One place? Target. So I went to see if I could find another of the item, but could not. As I’m walking out of the store, I walk right by the book section. And out of the corner of my eye, I spy… ANOTHER SHOPAHOLIC BOOK! No way! I love that series! I thought it was over! Well, so, I see it out of the corner of my eye and gasp. Stop… take three steps backwards. Look over feeling like all slow mo. Sure enough, it IS another Shopaholic book! So I go “Skweeee” (or some other such scary noise) and am suddenly in fast forwarding grabbing the book and clutching it in my grubby little paws. To my shame, there’s a woman standing RIGHT BESIDE me. She chuckles. *red face* She puts her copy of the same book into her cart, and what does she say? “I just had the SAME reaction!” ROFL… too funny!
So I have a new book! Which means I have to finish reading the very long book I’m working on. It is going slow though due to the mass quantities of Farscape. Never fear, next week there will not be 8 hours of Farscape a day, so I will probably start reading like mad then!! I’m about halfway through Chapter 3 right now. Long way to go. But? I’m totally loving it. What a fascinating story! I’m totally hooked. The audacity of some writers… catching you hook, line, and sinker from the get go. What’s up with that? *GRINS*
In other news, Caramon came home today with an award from Music class! He took his recorder he picked out at the Ren Faire and shared it with his class.

Heh. Did I mention my Mom has now gotten into Farscape after years of… not? It’s funny. She’s been watching it a lot and looking forward tot he miniseries. Of course I saw a miniseries should be more than 4 hours (with comercials) but then I grew up on V and V: The Final Battle. 😉
Speaking of SF… Did you watch the season premier of Enterprise?

A friend of mine just went to her first medieval fair thingy and fell in love with the snoods…those sort of hairnet thingies that have beads n stuff worked into them. She said she has looked everywhere on the internet for a pattern for crocheting one. I instantly thought of you and your mom…do you know anything about making these?

Good for your mum!
My mum says she’s Farscaped out. How on earth do you get too much Farscape???
I think given the minis that the sci fi channel have been putting out, we coudl get more than 4 hours. 4 hour miniseries is a miniseries for the major nets. They don’t want to give up more primetime than that. But sci fi that had a 20 hour mini last year? Come on!!!
Oh well… better than no mini… and did you see TSS? Ben was on last night and he said there’s a possibility of a film!
And yes I did… I’m going to rewatch Enterprise because I swear I was like “Huh?” I was thrown for a loop as to who was in charge in the States.

I have a snood
Mine doesn’t have anything fancy in it though. Mine is just crocheted. These are easy as pie to make. Did she try http://www.annthegran.com ?? If I had access to mine (it’s in storage… *SIGH*) I’d gladly take a bunch of pictures and line up a pattern… But it seriously can’t be hard… it’s basically a net. I mean make a crochet chain and then connect it all togther into the snood… how? Don’t know, but that’s all it really is…
Darn… you know the sad thing was I think I’ve made a snood to hold my bun for ballet back in the dark ages… Gaaah.
OK… we’ll work on digging through the books around here. Chances are we do have a pattern laying around. But mum says try Ann The Gran on the net.

My parents are going to MS next week so we can’t really look for a pattern till she gets back. Let me know then if I need to look. 🙂 (I WILL forget!)

I have it now…phew…that was close.
Question…was it originally a trilogy and then a fourth book added, or does it seem it 4 books flow one right after the other?

Re: I have a snood
I think it was originally a trilogy because I think the last one came out well after the others? I want to say that’s how it went at least. 🙂
But the third one is DEFINATELY an addendum. You’ll understand once you read it. You’ll go “Oh yup, this story is done.” But then along comes the fourth. Guess there was more. 🙂

Yeah it was one of those stories where you can see possible extensions but the story for the most part is over. The fourth is good. Let me know when you finish it.
BTW I was right in what I said last night, but you knew that, didn’t you? *GRINS* I cant’ wait to see where Alek hides out at! 🙂
Oh and the movie? Excellent! Can’t wait until part 2 tonight! WOOHOO! It’s way too short though. Four hours does not make up for the 22 hours we were supposed to get. (IE Season 5 that we were supposed to get.)

Hello the hero can’t die! 🙂 That’s how! Even if they were to catch him, he’d escape once he got elsewhere. Hero’s don’t die a mere 50 pages into a book. If they did it would be a real short book! HEHE
Oooh Book 4! 🙂
