Hope everyone got a chance to see it! If not? You can see it when it replays on Sunday! Also the DVD release has been announced for mid-January! I highly recommend you purchase it! This mini-series was downright epic. The ratings should say it all considering this was not only up against new episodes of shows like CSI but also up against football and baseball!

Scored about what/slightly higher than SG1. It scored well considering it was up against both football and baseball.
It means Sci Fi is a bunch of wankers. And hopefully this means FEATURE FILM!!! π

Thats frelling awsome! Its awsome news to hear it got such good rateings even on a sports night! I wonder if SciFi was running on a sports night on purpose, to try and kill it π You know how the head wench of scifi hates scifi(?!).

Re: It means it..
I wouldn’t put anything past The Wench. I mean who puts on something against baseball mega event and football? Plus also remember it was also up against shows like CSI that pull in a lot of viewers. Heck, didn’t CSI mention Farscape in an episode? Anyway, between not one but two sports things, plus the fact this was not aired during “repeats” like they normally do… the ratings rocked. If you look on their site, the first week in October, Stargate SG1 had ratings of 1.7.
And yes I do wonder at the timing. Though it is better than the one they are trying to pull off next month in the middle of November sweeps! I mean hello? Of course I have a DVR, so I can watch whenever I want.. which means I can record whenever I want. π
And remember, the final stats aren’t in. There was a showing yesterday of party two plus they are showing both parts on Sunday together!! So there’s a chance of MORE viewers. Because hey, almost 7 million or whatever it was? Just not enough!
The DVD release is already announced for January. What we need to do is start people preordering as soon as Amazon allows. Blast the market.
