Dang, this show is good. Amazon just recently sold season 1 for only 15 bucks. I was interested in this show when it debuted but it was on a bad night and I never got to see it. I’ve debated getting the DVDs since they released those so soon. Never got around to it. Season 1 for 15 bucks made that an easy choice. You can’t rent six DVDs for that! And that’s two weeks of Netflix since I’m on the 3 at a time plan. So anyway… just seemed to make sense. Kind of nervous since it was sight unseen… but figured why not. I basically got it for free with the other stuff I got that was also on sale.
It’s now just after 11 AM Day One and whoah. Awesome… I’m frelling hooked. I’m gonna keep watching like mad. There’s only two things recording tonight that I want to see so no problem. (Darned WB not showing Charmed. GRRRR How can they not show Charmed during Sweeps???)
Anyway… something tells me that I’m going to be hunting out season 2 fairly soon. I started watching late last night and have been madly madly watching since!! HEHE
In other news, my throat hurts. 😦 I hope I’m not gonna end up as sick as Dad was. Blargh. OK, back to mad marathon of 24!!!

I would have been watching it had they not put it on Tuesday night. I just couldn’t find a way to farking fit it into my crazy Tuesday night viewing. Tuesday is hands down the best night for television and has been for several years. Drives me batty.
I was so interested in it when I read the review… but basically it was either give up a show I was already watching or not see this one. I decided I’d hope that it went into syndication and I could watch it that way.
Between Caramon’s illness and everything else, I’d just never gotten the DVDs. This show is awesome as I thought it would be! It was worth the wait! 🙂 I just need to find a way to scrounge up the money for Season 2 and Season 3… HAHA
As for January… I’m not sure. Tuesday is still a problematic night but this year I might be able to squeeze it in since other shows are no longer around. 🙂 Hopefully between now and then I will have scraped up season 2 and season 3! 🙂

It WON”T be on Tuesday. i think it is Monday’s – they have to move it off of tuesday to keep the continutity/no breaks bit otherwise they have to take the dreaded March AI break.

Why aren’t they starting it till January? Seems like if they’d go ahead and start it… I hope it does OK if it is on another night… and starting so late…
I also worry about Alias… Starting so late. What’s the latest on it? *SIGH* They will have to do a major refresher… *SIGH* Stinking ABC… I love Desperate Housewives but I miss my Sydney!! And Vaughn! And Stark! And… hehe

and the theory on both shows is to run them without breaks – so I’m all for the delay.
and alias will be changing nights due to desperate housewives but we don’t know where it is going.
It is possible alias and 24 could go into same slot on same night.

I noticed Fox has 24 listed as Mondays at 9 PM. That’s up against Everwood. I also noticed sci-fi’s website has a survey up for when Alias should be. Most votes look like plopping it after Lost I’m all for that. Two shows by the same guy kicking arse on a lame tv night? Rock on! I mean right now Wed’s are blah. It’s Smallville and Lost and nothing else. How sad is that? Wed night has always been slow, Star Trek being the best thing on. But UPN moved that this year. (Glad though since I like both Lost and Smallville… haha)

Its hard to watch on TV though, I find it better when you can marathon watch it on DVD. I would watch it on tv (season 2 and 3) but then occasionally you’d miss one b/c of real life issues or what not, and that just wrecks it. Plus you really feeeeel the drama of the show when you can just watch it continuously.
I cant wait until season 3 is on dvd. I watched about half of the season on tv but i know i missed a ton.

It’s just after 10pm so I’m drawing to a close. Whew… I can’t believe it. I hate Mrs Palmer. I can’t help but hope that someone DOES get a shot off and it hits her by mistake. What a witch! And I’m totally watching the sparkage between Palmer and the speechwriter that is being instituted by Mrs Palmer going “AUGHHH”. And then the whole Kim being recaptured thing and oh about a thousand other things!!! EEEEK.
I need Season 2. I may be scraping up the cash to go get it. I need something else to watch this week 😉

Thankfully I have DVR so woohoo on real life not interfering. I tell you what, TV when YOU want it is the bomb!! Of course I’m really into this whole DVD thing because I actually like marathon watching shows. I know it probably sounds dumb, but I do. Last year Judging Amy hit syndication and so I figured I’d catch up on the year and a half or two years I had missed… they were showing it twice a day so I would watch every other day these four episode marathons. I did the same with Buffy… four episode marathons with the DVDs. I’ll probably do the same with Firefly when I get it… Anyway, this is the way to watch TV!!! HEHE
I was thinking, given how sweeping this story is, I bet Alias would be the same way. 30 times better on DVD since they have such an ongoing thing there and it is a lot of heart catching drama killed by the farking repeats and etc. ‘Liss will probably read this and chime in that I’m totally right… she has the DVDs and I’m sure has many a Sark marathon and drools nonstop all over herself… HeHE I know my ‘Liss so well. Alias is on my “to get list” for sure. I just have so many it is hard to decide what to get when!!
Season 3 comes out next month and I can’t wait!! I’ll definately be putting that on my Christmas List. HEHE Hopefully I’ll get it… otherwise I might just have to put myself a present under the tree! HAHA Ooooh Santa?!

And they are trying to say George is a mole? I doubt that. I think it’s the chippie at CTU. I never really trusted her… seems Kiefer was a little too quick to decide she was “safe”… she gives me the heebie jeebies.

Actually I have episode 1 floating around somewhere… I should watch it… maybe I’ll do that when 24 is over. Right now i have to run get lunch then I’ll watch the last hour and a half of the longest day of their lives… haha or at least, the first longest day 😉
