I love these progressive dinners. They are so much fun! And for some reason they are really great at the holiday time. We had a lot of really great food and the deserts were compltely yummy. It was mostly just holiday catching up and that sort of thing.

We had a white elephant exchange that was fun. Those things are always hillarious. Seeing people “fight” over gifts!! There were some really neat ones, too. I heard it was ornaments, but apparently it was Christmas decorations so people brought in candles and all sorts of stuff. One of the neatest gifts was made by the giver. It’s a sign to hang on your door saying “Let Him In.” I loved that!

Let Him In.

It helped with the Christmas Hohums I’ve been having, but *SIGH* seeing all those lovely decorated homes…

The last home we went to, wow. I told the lady I was taking her to Ohio because if my home looked like hers it would be sold! She grinned. But the neatest thing was in the family room and the front entryway she had hung up snowflakes from the cieling so it was like snow was falling. How cool!

Amy and I talked for a while. She’s so cool. I wonder if she realizes how cool?
