Well it didn’t really start off that bad. I played a little Sims Bustin’ Out on the Xbox for about 20-30 minutes this morning. Then Judy came over with avon orders so I did a little Christmas shopping via Avon. I picked up something for those gals who are close to my heart. Ha! Thught I’d tell didn’t you? Guess again… mwahahaha… I did see this lovely ring that I thought Amy would LOVE but 1. she really doesn’t wear rings 2. I don’t know her ring size so I didn’t order her the pretty 20 dollar ring. Sorry, Amy. I totally thought of you. I got you something else that I hope you enjoy!

So from there it was off to get grandpa and try to find someplace to feed him at. We finally ended up at this yummy oriental buffet over by the Fred depot and yum. Mmmm. Good grub.

After that it was a trip into Costco and my mum found Caramon a great Christmas present. Now she’s just trying to decide what to get Joram. Ok, I have to say… the two grandma type people so far? They soooooo struck gold this Christmas! I can hear the boys now on Christmas morning. “Sweeeeeeeeeet! This is the best Christmas ever!” You guys rock, and I know for sure that Christmas morning is going to lead to little HAPPY boys!

But no, the fun doesn’t stop there. Home to clean and straiten up, and do the whole homework thing. So it was homework, reading for half hour, and yup, Caramon had piano practice. He’s learning Old McDonald. Which I used to be able to play on the guitar. Wish I had that and the music book out, we could duet… hehe. Then they had to straiten up and it was dinner time.

Now here’s the bummer stuff.

OK, I can’t just drop the real bomb. So let’s do the selfish whiney to warm you up. The other’s a real downer… OK… so I go and move the Xbox out here so I can game some tonight. I’m in major Halo withdrawel because hello… not been able to play on the old crummy tv in our room. It hurts my back and my eyes. Turns out the cable I purchased so we’d have an extra one? Missing. It’s the one that plugs into the tv. Now i looked, and I even tried in our room with a flashlight. No dice. No idea where it went. *SIGH* I don’t want to unhook the other one from the tv in our room in the dark. So much for Halo 2. Sorry Caliban27, I really was looking forward to hooking up with ya. Maybe this weekend? *SIGH* I’m gonna get on and have a hundred halo people going “Where you been????”

OK… bummer stuff… Ugh, you know what… I’m giving it its own post. When I can… I’m gonna work on posting it on my personal website, then I’ll cross post it here. It’s none of us in the house… but it’s really upset us. Sometimes life is not fair to good people. And this week has been major proof to us. *SIGH* 😦
