Playing catch up!
We went shopping and then to the parade and then out to dinner with my friend Stephanie last night. It was great. Stephanie was at the James Monroe museum working and they had an open house up until the start of the parade. So we walked in the parade with the boys and then met up with her.
The pack did A Christmas Carol for their float. The trailer was made up to look like a giant bed. Tigers wore nightshirts and caps and were under a “quilt” listening to the story. There was a large storybook at the other side of the trailer from the head of the bed. The bears and wolves and webelos walked. They were dressed up as paupers, ghosts, and even an ebenezer! It was a lot of fun.
We went to the 5 and Diner for dinner and hung out with Stephanie and talked with her a bit. She’s great.
Today we had Church, the potluck, and home. Whew… busy busy! The potluck feast was awesome. So much good food!! Yum yum! I put up our Gift Tag Tree in Relief Society. Everyone chooses a gift tag and they buy what’s on there for a needy child. It’s a cute tree!
I watched ANon Rex which was great as well. 🙂 I enjoyed that a lot. What a neat concept!
