We got up and left for Breakfast with Santa just after 9. The boys got to eat waffles, play, make crafts, and of course… see the man in the big red suit! The kids couldn’t believe that Santa came to the school here, like in Ohio! That man has a busy busy month running around seeing all the kiddies he loves so much! Ahh the magic of Christmas!

The boys saw several of their friends. Including Ben, Amy’s son. Amy and I took way too many photos of the boys together and talked photography shop. She’s got a Nikon of some sort. And I’ve got my Olympus 5060. Amy is an awesome photographer. She got lucky, the paper gave her her camera.
At lunchtime we went and grabbed a bite to eat and then we went to Ritz to get some prints made of Santa and the boys. Except that I tried to do something that wasn’t supposed to work that great so I decided to just go back another time and get strait prints made. After that we went to Target. We went to Best Buy and window shopped, but they didn’t have anything we felt like waiting in line for. I needed to pick up another gift bag, the one I got last night tore in two seconds from bouncing boys. My husband took the kidlets and they picked up gifts for me. I window shopped. I also went to the bookstore while waiting and then went back. They are next to each other.
I was hoping to find a Mormon Tab Choir CD that mhovley has me interrested in, but no one has it in. Rats. It is one of the things on my Christmas list. While at Target, I looked at this:

It is the Cocoa Latte. Apparently it makes hot cocoa and lattes and stuff. It heats, mixes, and then it will also froth! So you could have nice, frothy cocoa. And that means? You can make steamers! Mmmm steamers! I think I want one of these once we move out. Anyone know about them? Amy has one (I found out later) similar to this. It doesn’t froth, but it will make hot chocolate. Heat and mix. And hers made wonderful cocoa! So anyway, this is going on my list of “housewarming” wants.
We came home after that, but I was only here long enough to literally repack my gift, pack up my laptop, and head out. Just about everyone showed up, so that was nice. Kristen loved my gift. Yay! Mandy had my name and she gave me the most WONDERFUL gingerbread house. Where am I going to put it though??? I don’t want the cat to get at it! Gosh it’s BEAUTIFUL!
I got home around 11:30 PM. Whew…
Amy and I went through the photos I took earlier today. We talked a lot of “shop” with photos and writing. Amy’s going full time at the paper in January. I’m almost jealous of her. The hustle and bustle of the paper! I sometimes miss the newsroom. We also talked about how we both would love to do more with our photography. She even said a wonderful idea, working at the hospital with special needs children. I thought this was WONDERFUL!
