I can’t believe that it’s Friday already! We’ve had such a busy week. I hope the boys had a fun spring break! Today it was almost lunch time and I sent the boys to get a lunchable I’d picked up for them. My dad told them instead he wanted to take them out to lunch. Of course, who’s going to pass that up? So off we went to Friday’s and had a lot of fun.
From there we went and checked out the barnraising at Ferry Farm. FF is the boyhood home of George Washington on the banks of the Rapahannock River. They are having some people build this barn, just as it would have been built in George Washington’s time. So no nails, pegs, and all that. It’s very fascinating. Unfortunately the rain is not being helpful so they are still only just fitting and cutting and etc. We walked the grounds and checked out everything.
Then on our way back through town, we located the new Bug Box, it’s a museum by some exterminators. We voted for the boys to go tomorrow… when I’m not going to be involved! HA!
