I went out and bought some nicer equipment. Of course nicer equipment means needing to REALLY learn how to use the software. Which means knowing what the heck I’m doing. I’m a little annoyed, I have to turn the gain up real high which in turn causes more static which I have to try to clean ou which made, to my ears but I’m working on a migraine, a very odd background noise. Hmmm.

Hopefully I will be able to learn how to better clean this up. I’m reading as much as I can on this stuff.

I’m pretty much done with what I can think of to do to clean up the audio. So I’m going to go ahead and publish this piece later today even though I don’t think it is perfect. Hopefully I will continue to learn and improve! I might need to go ahead and get that mixing board doojoby. I might go in and inquire where I got this equipment to see if I can get some advice as well.

My parenting in poverty partner, Melanie, and I made a great podcast. It’s really the introduction to it all. So that’s great. We had a total BLAST! it was so much fun!! We talked about ourselves, our site, and what we want from the podcast!

I’m still tweaking the audio but it will be up later today. I’m really unhappy with the audio but I’m just unsure what to do next…
