I finished up with 101 books for the year. I’d have gotten more but my fall, as always, was a crazy blur of running about and so my reading really tapered off.

I stuck with my reading challenges through the first half the year, being successful each month. I’m pretty proud of that since it was reading nine books a month. I wish I could have kept it up!

The only thing that bums me out is that I didn’t manage to clear out a large portion of this reading list! Of course that means I have plenty of books for this year, right? Sure!

Always a silver lining. No way am I going to count those books tonight though. I can tell you it’s probably scarily close to 300. Yikes.

My goal to get through the alphabet did well, but I didn’t complete it. Some letters are HARD! Missing letters: J, K, Q, X, and Z. Not bad if you ask me, since Q, X, and Z are kind of hard anyway. I have no real excuse for J and K that I can think of. Especially since I’d probably be embarrassed by how many titles I have starting with those letters in my TBR. (Seriously? I have no clue.)

The nine books a month challenge would have meant a total of 108 books read, so while I didn’t finish any challenges in the latter half of the year, I did get close to the 108 total. Yay! It was really to help you get through your TBR and it sure helped!

I’ve never done reading challenges before this year and I had a lot of fun. I’d like to try to do some reading challenges this year, though maybe not quite so heavy as nine books a month! (Though really with this TBR I should probably be trying to read close to a book a day. I just don’t have time for that! HAHA) If you have interesting challenges you’d like me to try, comment! One thing I’m missing is a good book group. I’m so sad without my book group. I’ve really missed it. *SIGH*
