There was a good deal at Toys R Us. So we went ahead and finally did it. The kids were so tickled. It is a joint birthday gift for them!
We got them two games. Spider and Super Smash Brothers Melee. I also preordered Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3 Rebel Strike. Sir Megabyte and I played the arcade version of number 2 and it was way fun and so maybe we’ll have fun with this one!
We got the platinum box. We’ll probably try to get them a game or two (depending on cost) for Christmas as well. So if you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them! 🙂 We’re so far behind the Nintendo franchise! ROFL We have a Super Nintendo with about five games. That’s the end of our Nintendo knowledge of late! HAHA
If you do have recommendations, please remember that I have 2 little boys. So I’d love games appropriate to him! I mean, sure I want Spy Hunter (woohoo… remember THAT from the arcade? I love the music!) and um… well not sure what else. Also, if there are any CHEAP games… remember I’m a tightwad! *GRINS*
We’ll need to be getting a second controller soon. I’ll have to check into options there as well.
The kids had so much fun playing on it tonight though! Which is good because it has gotten really cold!

I’m sure he will be fine, but you never know. I always get stressed out before his appointments.
And the worst thing is we won’t know anything for several days. So we’ll have the stressful appointment and then we’ll have to sit around on our hands for two or three days while they check out all the results. *SIGH*
