And on the 7th Day the Lord rested.
I wonder… did he really rest? Because I sure didn’t rest today on this wonderful day of rest we reserve for the Sabbath.
First we overslept so we raced around like mad to get to Church. So I slipped into sign class to practice the carols. We are going to a nursing home or something to sign Christmas carols next week. Then I was going to go to Relief Society but I started getting dragged around involved in this cub scout recharter. Plus at least five people asked me about the boy scout charter. I don’t’ have it. It is not my fault I am THE only LDS person who goes to round table. Don’t blame me. I bet they just forgot to go get it from the Scout Office.
So then I ended up racing home to get the paperwork, then going through the paperwork, then realizing we were missing paperwork and signatures. So after getting home and eating I went back out to run around picking up paperwork, getting paperwork signed, and all in a snowstorm. Not a bad snowstorm, but enough that people here were STUPID. They were either driving 2 miles an hour or blowing through stop signs at 40. Morons. Took me two hours to make four stops. Then I had just enough time to make dinner before DH had to run off to Cantata practice. Whew.
I’m exhausted just remembering it!
And now this week I have to take it all over to the Scout Office and turn it in. And apparently now I have to ask if they have any idea what happened to our scout troop charter as well.

It snowed here too…people really loose the ability to drive well when it snows.

It amazes me
I mean, this is Ohio. Nine months of winter. Lots of snow. Why the heck do they act like they have never seen this seen this weird white stuff. Hello?! You guys live with this stuff for way too long. Why are you like this? I mean it isn’t like this is Florida or south west Arizona or something that doesn’t get below 50 degrees in winter so they never see snow. It is often -20 (and they force children to walk to school, how evil is that?) and snow is seen a lot. This isn’t even the first snow fall, we’ve had snow before but this is definately the most snow we’ve had for this season. The other couple of times it was really just a dusting or flurries. First flurry of the year was well over a month ago!

Yeah…it’s weird. We had our first big snow fall yesterday and it seemed like people forgot how to drive in the stuff. They act like Michigan’s never had snow before. It sure is crazy.
