Well the family was supposed to come to MIL’s today but everyone was still feeling the ick from that flue. So they decided instead to come on Monday. So after talking with MIL for a bit we went back over to SIL’s.

We sat around just kind of goofing off, with Jared still working on his laptop. Then the ten of us, Jared; Renee; Wade (Renee’s husband); Paul (FIL); Melodie (Step MIL); the three kids, and us, went up to Cool Springs to go shopping. On the ride up it was us and Jared, Paul, and Melodie in our car. We went to Toys R Us first. While there we noticed leappad books on sale for buy two get one free. So we got one for each kid and split the cost into thirds so that Renee could pay for her portion. Caramon got one on making movies with a special feature about Harry Potter. Joram got Lion King. Also I finally found Rummikub so I snatched that up. Then it was over to Walmart and we looked at some other stuff. Then we had dinner at some steakhouse. Apparently the health department there in TN has not stopped the nasty, dirty peanut shells on the floor thing like everywhere else. Yuck. I ended up getting a really great salad with some salmon on top. I took the salmon off and ate it seperate. Glad they at least had a decent salad. Last time I went to a place like that they did not have good salads. Excuse me, but not EVERYONE enjoys eating giant slabs of bloody cow meat. Blech. Salmon I can handle, but cow meat? *SHUDDER* Oh and the rolls? Mmmm divine.

Then it was back to Renee’s and we just sat around playing Uno and the kids watched Princess Bride and we just quoted it galore. I think we drove the parents up the wall. HAHA We did go in to watch the final bit of it.

Way too late, we left and went back to MIL’s.
