This morning we watched Bruce Almighty and that was funny. Then with the kids we watched Finding Nemo. Jared showed up during it and he watched it or at least part of it… can’t remember how much… Finding Nemo? Excellent. We then let him start watching Crest of Stars but he didn’t get to watch a whole lot. He finally ended up ripping the DVDs onto his hard drive so that he could try to watch them on vacation or on his long flight home. He seemed interested in them. I hope he likes them. If only we were there for longer he might have had a chance to watch more…

Tonight people came over. Same crew plus some of MIL’s family. And the younger sister, Danni who is pregnant and sick from that. Poor gal. So it was once more lots of food (though at a decent time) and lots of cards. It was getting kinda loud so I decided to not play cards. (Ok, it was also crowded.) I actually worked on my novel and guess what? I’m about halfway through chapter five! WOOHOO. I’m not real happy but at least I managed to get past that stubburn part of chapter 4. Now it is the assimilating of the knowledge and on to the next part. 🙂 Yay! I had to stop though because the noise was too high and my head was hurting.

Everyone but Jared left. We stayed up talking to Jared until way too late. WAY too late. But it was good. He lived with us for a couple of months so it was nice to catch up with him again.
