So he said we’d watch these movies today but nope… he hasn’t moved from his desk. Paying no attention to us. Heck I ate like an hour ago and he just got up to go to the bathroom and stopped over here by me on the sofa and says “Hey go get us some lunch.” Um, I ate. No. How about you join the family.
I’m about to say forget it and let the kids watch these movies they want to watch. We have Daredevil and Master of Disguise and Pirates of the Carribean and… *SIGH*
I’m so bored. I spent most of the day checking out listings for rentals in Frederickburg and Chantilly and in between. Just for kicks. He’s a dork and says “I don’t want to live in Fredericksburg. I want to live closer to DC. Well I terrorized him with a rental that was over 3k a MONTH right around the corner from the Pentagon. There… how’s that? HA! I know what I’m talking about. I’m not looking at Fredericksburg because I want to move back there. I’m looking at Fredericksburg because it si what we can afford.

Sorry ’bout that … but I don’t have any current words for advice (other than kickin’ his butt into the family room, heh) so I have a question:
“Music: TV: Bewitched Final Episode”
Which is the final episode? I wonder if I’ve seen it … Is it really final episode or just the last episode made? As in, did they plan it to be the final?

Well I don’t think that it was meant to be a final.
I mean it was not like they finished out the series. It was the one where Endora decided to teach Samantha that mortals do not like to tell the truth.
So there’s this pin that Darrin had bought for Samantha. A unicorn. Endora enchanted it so that whomever held it must tell the exact truth that they were thinking.
So there’s some rather inappropriate things said between Darrin and a secretary. Then there is some insulting going on between Larry, Darrin, and some clients. Meanwhile Samantha thinks they are all nuts. 🙂
I know i’ve seen it many times. 🙂
Yesterday TV Land was showing final episodes of various shows. Mostly lame ones I don’t care about. Then today they showed the first episodes of the same shows. Pretty cool, huh? Unfortunately they didn’t play a whole lot of interest. So I nailed I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched and Munsters. I did snag Happy Days and the first Brady Bunch as well. (I had already missed the finals for those two.) But I believe that was the end of that. TV Land doesn’t show much that interests me. HEHE I’m not really into I love Lucy and Beaver and Andy Griffith and stuff.

They are already talking about a sequel? Sheesh! THey’ll sequel anything these days won’t they? HAHA
I can’t wait to see it. See he did this crap yesterday too. It was finally 9:30 and he was like ‘Oh.. um… ok let’s watch Pirates” but then he realized it was 2.5 hours. Yeah right. So needless to say.. nope.
OK, I’m gonna be a brat and tell kids to clean up and then we’ll watch something and if he doesn’t like it oh well. I’m sick of waiting on everyone else. This is ridiculous.

Speaking of firsts, I showed the first three (the real first three) episodes of Firefly to Jacob when he was keeping me company after my operation. I don’t think he had ever heard of the series before. He had no preconceptions and I didn’t even tell him what FOX did to the series at first. I started with the real pilot, “Serenity”, of course. After “The Train Job” (which seems much better after you watch the real pilot) I told Jacob about what FOX did in the ordering. He agreed it was a stupid and that though he was now (after only a few hours) really liking the series, he wouldn’t have thought much of it if he had only see “The Train Job” without knowing the characters as they were introduced in “Serenity”.
I think that sums up how stupid FOX is, right?

You haven’t seen it yet?! And you have the disc in your possession?!!! Go, watch! Heh. I love that movie. I don’t normally buy movies on DVD so it says something when I walked out of the theatre saying “I want to buy this movie when it comes out.” 🙂

OK, when are you bringing me firefly to watch???? HAHA Come on… you know you want to. *SIGH* I can’t afford all my DVD series I want. 😦
Fox destroyed Firefly. I hate them forever for that. GRRRR
I’m glad I”m the way I am. I give shows about three or four episodes before I make my final analysis. If I didn’t do that, I don’t know that Firefly would have lasted for me. That “first” episode just didn’t do much and made it seem weird. However the TRUE FIRST episode (Serenity) I’d have been like “Aw yeah so sticking for this show” had they played it first. There would have been no doubt in my mind at all.
FOX YOU SUCK. (THough I like Tru Calling. Don’t mess with it unless you want to put it in a better time slot.

Well I was rather busy with that cleaning spree. (Which will come in handy if we really do move) Then there was Christmas preperations. And then we didn’t have a chance to watch it on vacation. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift but Sir M found it about a week-ish before Christmas. GRRR.
We don’t watch a lot of movies in the theatre. This past year I think we have seen one movie, Laura Croft. I don’t think we went to anything else… We did some stuff around Christmas time last year, but I can’t remember if it was officially 2003 yet or not. 🙂 Movies here cost so much. And there is no dollar theatre. Well let me rephrase that. The dollar theatre would take half an hour in good traffic to go to. So that’s at least one extra hour out and that makes it 1. harder for us to justify and 2. pain in the rump to find a babysitter and etc. We just don’t go.
I wish we did. You should see the list of movies i want to see! HAHA It’s massive. I really should join Netflix. HAHA

Re: hi
PotC was playing at the dollar theatre on Bethial last weekend. I noticed as I was walking by (fresh out of Half-Priced Books and trying to find the anime store that was no longer there) and was tempted to go again but I’ve seen it three times in a theatre and I am buying it on DVD and I didn’t have time. I do understand added complications, though. I’m a college student on break so I can do crazy stuff like this. Of course, in a few years, you can go see a lot of movies with the boys. 😀 I remember going with my Mom to the movies often. We saw Labrynth three times … I went for the Muppets and she went for David Bowei 😉

No I can’t go to movie with boys. At 8.50 a pop for a movie that’s like 34 bucks. Just to get in. Yuck. Unless we travel all the way over to the dollar theatre. But it is really an inconvient location. And it would take so much planning to make sure that we are there early enough to get tickets and etc.
It pisses me off. THere’s actually a dollar theatre right next door to my neighbourhood. Like walking distance. But the stupid place had like a water heater blow or something. So I guess they decided it wasn’t worth it to replace the thing and whatever was water damaged. Hello, I know a family of four that would be at like every movie ever.
When we lived in NC and were newlyweds we saw every movie released. There were three dollar theatres in the small town. Two were within five minutes of our house. So we were constantly at the movies.
I miss having a dollar theatre close by. *SIGH*

Re: hi
Well, there are still matinee prices. I don’t pay $8.50 to see a movie when I just have to buy one ticket. I try to avoid spending more than $5.00. Plus, it seems the theatres I’ve gone to in Columbus are cheaper than those up here. 🙂

Matinee saves us about 2 bucks a ticket. Our theatre is over priced. GRRR. I hate it.
You must not go to the inflated ego places like where I live. *ROLLS EYES* I hate it here. HEHE
