It is almost to the bike path in our back yard. EEEKS. Joram is going “It is going to flood the whole world!!!!” Wow.. this is the highest yet that it has gotten.
When is Columbus going to realize that it is not Seattle??? HAHA
Scary thing is we are supposed to get MORE rain! We are having unseasonably warm weather. It got up to like 60 yesterday. Here January is usually frigid and frozen. Wind chill giving us -20 degree weather and the sort. Yet here I swear, what is this? Indian Summer number 499289238???? hahaha. What on EARTH is going on with the weather?? Not that I mind… I hate how frozen it is here in winter. Usually I hole up in my house and I don’t leave because I can’t stand it. But the crazy weather changes are causing me a lot of pain in my knees. I mean two days from now it is supposed to be 19 for a high but as of an hour ago we are sitting at 38.
It looks like yesterday we got an inch and a half of rain. That sure does not sound like a lot. The last 7 days have given us 2.39 inches of rain. sure does not sound like enough to cause that much flooding. Wonder if they opened the dam again too? They did that back in May. It warmed up, the snow melted off and so they opened the dam. The creek rose and then like three days later we had what turned into like three weeks of solid rain. It was insane!
Hmm I wonder what our annual rain count was for 1993? Would be fascinating to know and compare it with the average. OK, I’m weird… sue me!
My knee is already twinging. It’s gonna be a lovely day. I have a bit of a stomache ache. I better not have the flue. Caramon had it, my inlaws had it, I really don’t want it. I think I’m gonna go back to sleep and hopefully sleep it off. Ugh, bad idea. My body is really screwed up from this vacation. Since Sir Megabyte has had this anime to watch he’s been staying up WAY late and keeping me up. Now you have to understand, I am a night owl. I can easily stay up to all hours of the night. But morning person? Nope. Not me. Never have been and probably never will. So I worry that with school starting back tomorow that I won’t be able to get up for the kids! EEEEK!
All right… getting out of bed… but what am I going to do then? Argh… Legally Blonde 2??? HEHE

A friend from Oregon said over break they got 8 inches (with more coming) and that’s three year’s worth of snow for them – and they have only three plows in her entire city! Of course, not sure what is happening down there today but Cleveland finally caught up with the fact that it is winter here. Though it was near 60 yesterday and still mild into the night, it began to rain and by daybreak the rain was partially snow – a lot of snow. And some freezing rain. A whole wintery mix. I was going to go home to see Mom and take her to RotK but … not the best of conditions to drive in. Oh well … I’m sure that movie will be around for a little while. 😉
Oh, and you probably can’t tell, but my main LJ icon is a tree outside my house covered in ice. During spring break last year we had an ice storm and it coated everything in a 1/3 inch coat of a ice. It was like everything was encased. Tree branches looked cool. 🙂

It is slowly coming down in temperature here. By Tuesday we are supposed to be high of 19.
Don’t worry about ROTK, I think you are right, it’s probably gonna be around a good long time. HEHE We still have to go see it ourselves.
I didn’t realize that tree was outside your place. I just thought it was some random tree. HEHE That’s cool!
