Thank goodness there’s new TV tonight. No one is in chat and I’m bored. HEHE This is about to get exponentionally worse with repeats in March. Bleh!
Right now I’m watching Joan of Arcadia. I’m not sure what the heck Joan was thinking but she’s half inside the washer and Joan has her brother hit a button and it turns on and she flips backwards and so she gets hurt and has to go to the hospital. HEHE
Funniest JOA scene yet… her hanging upside down from the washer!! Classic! Probably one of the best things on TV this week. What on EARTH was she thinking??? HAHA
So let’s see… this weekend hopefully we’ll have some showings. No calls yet. *SIGH* This is so frustrating just sitting here in limbo.
We have scouts tomorrow.. their blue and whatever thingy ma bobbie. After that.. no clue what we are doing. But it is supposed to be 50’s here tomorrow! WOOHOO. So we’ll see what the boys want to do.
My back is feeling better. I spent this afternoon laying in my heated bed hoping to ease the last of the pain. It is just about OK. WOOHOO. I could use a back crack by hubby but that’s OK. I’ll survive. ๐
I’m so proud of my husband, he’s picked up slugs the last two days. I can’t believe it!! Yay! I told him to try out mass transit in some way. ๐ It seems to have worked well for him so woohoo. Hope things continue working well. He was impressed, he left REALLY early and there were already people out this morning! So he went ahead and picked up two slugs and headed to the pentagon. The way I see it, there’s ALWAYS someone at the Pentagon when you get there and always someone leaving after you. So it is probably possible to snag a ride… but anyway. I know that in the non prime hours it is a little harder but people are probably heading up or back.
Now we just have to sell this house so the kids and I can join him. *SIGH* I want him to not have so much stress.

Joan – yes, that was a very funny scene! “CALL 911! CALL 911!!!” lol ๐
It must be hard being away from him and not knowing exactly when you’ll all be together again. But I bet that you just keep in close contact and keep looking forward to the day you can embrace eachother again, it’s going to be a very special moment for sure.

Oh that scene was funny!
She’s all upside down and hanging there and her leg is stuck… just a slapstick moment of extreme funnieness! LOL. I imagined that poor 911 call too. “um my sister’s leg is stuck in the washer” “How did that happen” “Well she was sitting there putting laundry in it and she was trying to get the laundry to fit” “Is the washer on?” “Well I couldn’t figure out how to stop it…” ROFL…
It is hard. We’ve been seperated before. He spent a year in Japan. It was very expensive to call over there and he didn’t really have computer access or anything. we were military so exceedingly broke at the time. We only talked for 10 minutes a week!! Well now there’s so much more available to us. We both have cell phones with unlimited calling to each other. So we talk like every day. He generally calls me for that commute home. It’s like an hour and a half so we just talk and catch up. We haven’t talked like this in ages… you know how it goes… it is easy to fall into a rut where you don’t talk a whole lot about things… you just kinda talk about what is necessary and then time for bed. But having like an hour and a half of guaranteed talk time? Awesome! This is like when we were dating. ๐ OK… I’d rather be there in his arms… but at least we have the phones, text messaging, and video conferancing!
I long for the day my house sells so that I can just take all my junk out there and have my sweetheart again. *SIGH* We’ll get through it though. i mean at least it isn’t a year! And he’s a heck of a lot closer. I’m going out there next weekend actually. i can’t wait!!
*SIGH* I love and miss my honey!

That’s great that you get to talk so much, and it is nice to have that guarenteed talk time. Sometimes, you’re right, it is easy to just fall into a rut and kind of take for granted what is around us, so that is a nice plus side of it.
Yay for getting to see him this weekend! Driving, flying? I’m really not sure of the distance between the places.

Not this weekend, next weekend. I am driving. I can’t afford the ticket. Plus it evens out in time… haha It’s about 8 hours to where my parents live. He’s living with them.
