It is Monday and the stupid time change is kicking my butt. Anyone wanna join me on a march on The Mall in DC? I’m game if you are. Down With Savings Time. GRRRR

OK, bright note… got drivers license switched over. HA! I have prevailed! So NEEEEEENER. But bank is not open late until Friday so that must wait. *SIGH* On the bright note, DMV took no time. Note to self, first Monday of month good day at DMV. I had only sat down with form long enough to get a pen when they called my number! Great. I was in and out! And now have shiny pretty VA license good till my birthday (WTF why did they change from end of month???) in 2010! Yay I was scared they’d make me come back in one year but woohoo. Oh yeah and no more SSN… apparently was some government order. So still have crapola number I will never remember. *SIGH* Who cares, patriot act be danged I got me a license which means I can get on hubster’s bank account and in a week or two when card comes in HAVE ACCESS TO MONEY.

We went to lunch at Chick-Fil-A with friend of mom’s. She has the cutest little boy named Dexter. (Yes… her husband is a fan. No he does not have a laboratory…yet. That couple is DOOOOOMED) We’re getting together at her home tomorrow. They’ve both informed me I WILL be joining the Kenmore Stitchery Society. Hmmm my stitching sucks but I guess I’ll improve. *SHRUG* This little boy is totally cute, he’s about 2. She’s really nice so I look forward to getting to know her. She’s also a stay home mum. YAY. I forsee many playdates! (And by the way Chick-Fil-A rules. Their kid play area is awesome!

After that we had to race to get grandpa to his physical therapy appointment. Wasn’t that a thrill a minute. I guess he’s decided the bike hurts his knees. so he finished up early. He seemed fine then other than being the crotchety old man that he is! (I mean that well, he’s a fun crotchety old man, always has been. I luv him and his crotchety humour!) After dropping him back off it was a sweep into Ukrops for some chicken and other dinner items and then home.

Guess what I found tonight?! KEYS… they are someplace I don’t even remember going so either someone *moved* them or I was in more pain than i thought. ANd the sick thing was they were in plain sight so how we missed them in searching that area is beyond me. I mean I know for a fact my mother stood RIGHT THERE looking. Which leads me to wonder if someone *found* them but didn’t want to admit to it. Anyway… keys back. YAY.

Finally… still reading Glorious Appearing. Christ has finally returned!! WOOHOO (About halfway which is about right for these authors!) And that’s all the spoiling you are going to get.

Ha, made you click! MWAHAHAHA.. Oh well if you did you must really wanna know.

OK, I’m in chapter I dunno… on page 254. Christ returned. I liked Kenny waking up and saying “Jesus is Coming” and then a couple pages later… hullo Savior! It was sweet. Makes you think how close to God the kidlets are!!

Now I have to say, vengeful God of scary baptist sermons have nothing on Jesus in this book. I don’t know to shake in fear or to puke from vast quantities of blood. I thought Christ was the teacher of love but he’s going around being all obtuse speaker as he flies around the skies on horseback and all the badguy army people by him like burst in half and blood is everywhere and EW. ANd yes that’s about how it seems. And I mean like they are talking about thousands of people and everyone they can see and hello… mass ickiness. So much for forgiveness and love and mercy. I mean OUCH. It makes me remember those scary “YOU shall BURN in HAYELL” sermons from the baptist church and the “You are a SINNER and need to be REDEEM-ED or BURN in HAYELL” sermons from that weird fire and brimstone place I went to ONCE. (My gosh two hours of this guy talking about fire and brimstone to fall upon my head as I burn and rot and suffer in hell for eternity and nothing will be as bad as the firely lashes of…” was enough to tell me I never wanted to go back. Anyone know what Church that was? I highly recommend steering clear.)

So anyway, I was intrigued by the cross-obsessiveness. I figured they’d do something different for the ‘Sign of the Son of Man’ since they used tiny little forehead crosses for the sign of believerdom earlier. But apparently not as they made the Sign of the Son of Man a ginormous blazing cross in the sky. Now if you’ve read this did you picture the cross reaching from east to west horizon to horizon like almost making a dome or something? That’s kinda what I pictured. Very interesting head image I must say. I wonder how they will do it in the movie should they make all 12 into movies? Would be fascinated to see that.

I did like the touch of everyone hearing Christ even though they are like far far away. Nifty. And I also liked the personal touch of people hearing in their native tongue and the use of their own name instead of just the “son” or “daughter” or “brother” or “sister”. That was really cool.

I’ll be ever thankful to get past the mass slaying of people. Because, well, it is getting rather gruesome to hear about the blood and gore and stuff.

Oh and yesterday? The whole devil appearing and talking to anti-Christ *SHIVERS* Woah creepy. Even creepier than a few books back and that prayer to the devil. I got the heebie jeebies just reading that.

Oh and I do like the insta-healing. Though I always pictured that being when Christ actually did the official return-appear. It was nifty though.

The other thing I found neat was their interpretation of “run and not be weary” with the hordes of “the remnant of Isreal” chasing after Christ and running faster than a moving vehicle and not even being winded. That was definately a neat interpretation.

It looks like we are at where Jerusalem will fall (again). And hopefully Leo and Nicolae will bite the dust and we can get on with something besides the bloodshed! I’m off to read some more. Goal? Page 300 before I go to bed. HEHE

I did notice *GLARE* that it looks like ANOTHER book is coming out. How the heckfire are they doing that? I mean the way I see it is in comes Christ and sets up the millenium of peace. That’s the end of this book. What the heck are you going to write about to fill in “They lived in peace a thousand years” I mean are we going to flashforward to the end of that? That could be fascinating but I don’t know that there is much to go on for that… Maybe I’ll have a clue at the end of the book? I hope so. Though GRRRR another YEAR to find out. *SIGH* Seriously dudes… if I can write 1000 words a day, so can you!!!

Speaking of which… I can’t remember if I said… Saturday I wrote just over 500 words and finished chapter 9. So now I need to move on to chapter 10. But I’m on vacay and I want to finish this book. (Mainly so I don’t have to carry it home…haha) So I think I’m just gonna read and relax and let things sit for the rest of the week. (Unless major inspiration strikes) I’ve got most of what I had in head down now. So at this point it is moving the plot through the actual “middle” of book which I know what is but it is like a three line summary. I’ve never been able to use outlines effectively so I don’t do that. So I just have written down basically what would be on the back of a book or the inside of the dust jacket. HEHEHE. Synopsis of “this is where it starts and where it goes and what happens and then the end.”

Anyway, off to read! Oh and grrr… mum has already handed me five new books to read. GRRR I need to take a break from tv, writing, life and read nonstop I suppose! My list of 100 is going to be 150 if I am not careful!
