I went to Church today and it was wonderful. The ward is so much smaller now that they just recently did all that redisctricting. Probably about the size or a little bigger than the ward back in Ohio. (Of course back there they are silly and think they are sooooo HUGE and need to be split. LOL I cant’ believe they think that, they’ve never seen need to be split I guess.) Of course it was also a holiday and some people may have travelled since there are so many with family elsewhere there.

The talks in Sacrament were awesome. A former Bishop and his wife spoke. (I danced with their daughter growing up. She was a year behind me in school.) They talked about the atonement and the Garden sacrifice and all. It was wonderful. They talked about how Christ sacrificed himself for us and yeah, it was something they did just in such a way that it touched me.

Of course after that he had to race to teach Sunday School and she, primary. Guess it was a busy week around their place! He teaches the adult Sunday School class and wow, he is awesome. I haven’t felt that interested in Sunday School in a long time! (Of course more recently the ward I’m in now, they do it in the chapel and whew, it’s mega hot in there!)

It was nice to see people I knew. Saw lots of people I knew. It was so great, I didn’t realize how nice it was to go to Church and be hugged by 35 people!! I found out a friend is getting married, Saturday actually! Another friend’s mum said her daughter was coming back for a year or two while her husband goes to med school at UVA.

Tonight there was a neat show I found talking about Dan Brown and the Da Vinci Code. It was on National Geographic Channel and very fascinating!
