Mops this morning was awesome. I had been looking forward to this one all semester! It was about photography and I’m such a shutterbug! I know, surprised ya, right? 😉

So I went and learned some tips about pictures. Though I guess it was a little more basic than I was hoping she did talk about some cheap ways to do effects. That was neat. She only likes 400 but I much prefer 800 Kodak Max. I swear by it!! She did talk a bit about SLR’s which I’m fascinated with but cannot afford. *Le SIGH* I gobbled that up!! She also showed us a bunch of neat pictures she took herself. How awesome! I guess she does photography for people. So that’s cool! I’ve only taken pictures at a couple of weddings and that’s about it. But I love taking pictures!

Tonight at Enrichment we had learn to make candy or learn to knit. I already knew how to knit, and though I probably could have used a refresher course I went for chocolate. Now here’s a helpful hint. Skipping dinner thinking that you’ll eat something at Enrichment and then going into candy making? Not a good plan. K? Everyone got that? Man they put melted chocolate in front of me in a mug and I was like “Wow, all new meaning to Hot Chocolate” and wanted so much to drink. I think I ate too much chocolate… oooh paying for it now!

I did grab some needles and a skein of yarn so I could knit and work on that service project! THey are doing one for Warm Up America squares. I’ll need to brush up, but I’m sure that there are websites out there for me to get basic instructions on. I’ll be fine. I showed Sir Megabyte how to knit back when we were newlyweds and had nothing to do.

Oh and the only thing they had that wasn’t sweet (ugh totally didn’t want THAT after the chocolate thing) was this odd spam and egg salad sandwhiches. Now either they were really good, I was really hungry, or the chocolate had warped me… but those things were good! I know, sounds yucky but they were good!
