Dropping almost $200 on landscaping did not cross my mind when placing my house on the market. However spring sprung with a vengence of weeds. My green yard of last year began this season with a multitude of yellow. Yellow dandelions that is.

Over the last few weeks I have managed, with the help of my neighbours, kill the majority of the weeds and mulch the bushes and tree. However something definately seemed lacking in the yard. Yesterday my neighbour took me to the nursery he loves so much and rather enjoyed spending my money. I think he definatly enjoyed shopping on someone else’s dime!

All is done with the exception of the flowers. The heat and sun today caused me to feel ill so I’ll wait till it is cool or dark to complete that task. We picked up some nice begonias to add colour as the whole yard seemed just “green” with the grey house. A splash of colour around my tree might just do the trick.

We picked up these two bushes. Decided to replace these brownish red, dead looking things with something that looks lively. These bushes are leafy and green and large. Definately a lively bunch!

Today we took care of the planting and the mulching and so forth. Hopefully the flowers will go in and I will have a wonder snapshot to share. So sad that my yard looks spectacular and I’m moving.
