I got a super deal! I’d been planning on about 1000 bucks for the truck. Was going to make it rough. Doable, but rough. It will get refunded to us, sure, but at any rate. With monstermoving.com I got a discount. Plus there was a book on the web discount. Penske offers unlimted mileage and I even signed up for insurance. So we are totally covered. I got the big truck the 25 footer. Woot.

I pick it up on Friday the 11th of June. It must be returned at my destination point by the 14th. So that’s Friday through Monday.

I got one of those hand carts and furniture pads. All for the grand total of $620!! WOOHOO. And get this? I’ve got that pesky problem of needing someone to carry me up so I don’t have to leave the car after picking up the van… right? Wrong. This place is across the street from my neighbourhood. As in I walk up my street to the traffic light. I cross the road. There it is. Geeze it will take me like um… 10 minutes to hoof it. (Giving time for that pesky light.) OK, crossing that street isn’t ideal but I’ll send the kids to play with someone down the street and head up there and I’ll be fine alone. Just two lanes. I’ve crossed it on my bike before. Talk about cool!

But that gives me an extra almost 400 bucks in my budget alleviating some worry! YAY! Life will be a lot easier next month. I mean heck, that’s groceries! 🙂 Of course we’ll use some of that for the gas… but anyway. WOOT.

All right, any way I’m gonna go now. Do something outside. Something real. I need air. 🙂
