Yay!!

I finished the counters. At some point we need to go through the cabinets and fix them up. Right now hardly anything is going into there because stuff is falling over and stuff. But I’m hot and I think I’m going to call it done. I also took care of the microwave and the table. We now have a place to eat!! OK, the table is not very big. Probably only big enough for the kids and maybe one adult, two if we squeeze. Of course there is only one chair.. LOL. I’ll have to see what I can do. We have that chair in our room still I’ll probably put at it, even though it is rather big.

The only thing really left in there is my mother’s corner cabinet and this buffet type thing. I’m not going to touch them. So I put clutter stuff on there. If mom is serious about decluttering then I’ll sic her on that stuff. But I’m not going to worry about it. The inside of the cupboards I’ll do with mom maybe next week. Then we can purchase more than a couple of days worth of groceries at a time.

I feel good. I’m glad I got that stuff taken care of. Of course I find myself having to give them their stuff they are piling on the counters. Ok, mostly mom is piling stuff on the counters. Today I found her pills and her mail and her makeup and etc. She says “It’s so hard to keep the counters clean.” I told her she just needs to train herself to stop dumping stuff. Fly Lady HotSpot check! 🙂 Well that is a major hotspot in this house! 🙂 I’ll have to teach her to hotspot check… *SNICKERS* Then I can randomly call her after I move out and go “HOT SPOT CHECK” Aren’t I bad?

OK… that’s one room down! How much more do you think I can get away with? *SNICKERS*
