We took Grandpa to lunch for Father’s Day. This of course meant missing Church, but my family just doesn’t understand this. Because of the importance of Father’s Day I went with it. We wen to Red Lobster. Mmmmm. Then we brought Grandpa over here for a short while. The boys went and played a bit at the neighbour’s and I visited with her as well. She’s a nice enough lady from Ireland. We had a bbq for dinner… burgers and fries and potatoe salad and the whole nine yards.

I just got done posting all of those quilt pictures to my moblog. They actually have captions. I’ll be going and putting captions on some of my other recent moblog entries here in a few minutes I suppose. I need to do that before I forget. I did also post some after shots of my hard work in the kitchen so I need to put down why I posted pix of the kitchen.. hehe…

I have taken “before” shots of the family room. They are blackmail pictures. I told my mum tonight I’ll post them if she doesn’t behave. Looks like tomorrow we start the family room and God Help Us ALL!

OK, as for this weekend. I finished the BtVS book I was reading, Immortal. I had saved it till when i could truly enjoy it. Chris, thank you… it was excellent! I highly recommend it if you like dark vampy good v evil type books. 🙂

I’ve started a Xanth novel I had discovered a month ago I hadn’t read. Xone of Contention. Best one yet… of course it has so many cracks on Microsoft and the stuff so how can you go wrong? Xanth AND cracks on the big ‘Shaft! Woot! I’m about a third of the way done with this book. I have another Xanth novel waiting in the wings but I might do something a little more serious next and save that Xanth novel for later. After reading the BtVS one I needed something light. I have several more dark novels back there.

Last night we watched SWAT and loved it! Great flick… but action and fun and a bad guy who offers 100 million for springing him from jail… woot! I also watched Practical Magic this weekend and that was great! Someone at JU recommended it to me and I loved it!! I did also watch Alex and Emma and adored it!! I highly recommend it for an interesting little romance! Two stories in one! 🙂 So all three got five stars from me at Netflix!
