Ok I must admit, I’ve spent today so far reading and gaming. I know… bad me… nothing useful! HAHA

I did get around to tearing apart the futon and swapping mattresses around and stuff. I did get mom’s help and we ripped the plastic off of her mattress. So no more slip sliding I hope! I also seperated out the kids clean clothes and put them in their room. I need to fold about half a basket of laundry. I also moved the two totes that need to be stored out of the hallway by our room and to the hallway by the door. Then I took the chair out of our room finally! Yay… TEENY bit more space! Woohoo. I also removed the big eagle lamp that was not shedding a lot of light and put the bright skinny lamp to be tied into the lightswitch. I also took out two lamps that were not even plugged in. LOL. While messing with our dresser and the lamps I moved the tv and cable box to the left side and the xbox to the right side. See when I got here, the tv was on the cable box and it was on the right side at a slant. But since we moved the bed, it no longer needs to slant. Plus the xbox cord isn’t long enough to go behind the tv to be plugged in. But this way all the cords can be behind the dresser! Which is nice because I was getting anoyed with the cord falling in front of the drawers!! No more worries about that!

I had a bit of space between the xbox and the tv/cable box because of putting the lamp there. It’s a space saver lamp so I placed the xbox games and the Prima Guide for Riddick there. It looks really nice I think!! I also had to remake my bed due to the bed stuff I did!

I’m a little over halfway through the book I began yesterday. It’s another southern vampire book. I have the newest one to read also. Woohoo! I know, I’m burning through books! I’ll probably read a bit more after a bit.

Mom wanted to try out her Riddick game so we’ve been back there trying to figure out how to move around and yadda yadda. Of course since I still haven’t figured out the save game thing I lost some of what we did. We had gotten him into the jail and he’d gotten some brass knuckles and a shiv and taken out the head gang leader in that block. He was told to go to do this and that and I could have sworn it said “saved” so I quit out so we could eat lunch. Well when I checked… it starts me at the beginning of the “go take out the guy now” part. GRRRR. Maybe I’ll figure out these save points some day!!

OK, so far? Riddick is cool. It’s got a lot of fun in it. More than just a first person shooter. So I like that. You have stealth, hand to hand, climbing, thinking, searching… it’s cool! One thing we have to do is keep an eye out for smokes. See Riddick needs to buy his surgery so he can see in the dark. He did that by paying in smokes. But the smokes are fun because you have to remember to keep your eyes open but also they have funny sayings and each pack unlocks something!! Mostly just concept art, but how cool! What a neat idea!! I have only one complaint. It’s one person. Though I can understand why with the story line. Mom and I were having fun passing the controller back and forth.

Oh and the Prima guide? Great walk throughs! You can use it when you get totally confused. But unlike when I play Halo and just kind of blunder around… you can know what to do! πŸ™‚ This Prima guide is unlike any guide I’ve ever seen. Probably because I’m more familiar with EQ ones which well, that’s a totally different type of game and then like Tekken which is also a totally different game.

OK, I’m done eating lunch (and by the way I cleaned the kitchen back up) so I think I’m going to go read some more. I’m really into this one. I’m wondering if the main character (a telepathic barmaid) is going to dump the missing vampire who may or may not have been cheating on her for the sexy living werewolf who I really really like. Ok, not that I didn’t like Bill the Vamp, but well… he’s dead and as such kind of… well… cold. The werewolf seems to have so many emotions and just… well… anyway… Plus, I like his sister. She’s really taken a liking to the main. πŸ™‚ These are fun books. I’m supposing that Sookie is going to stick with the vamp though but *shrug*

Oh yeah… the kids have been stomping Diablo butt. Bwahahahaha… we’re just the gaming family!
