Caroline came over today with her cutie Dexter. She brought their crazy octopus sprinkler thingy and the kids had just a ball! What a hoot. That was in between Caramon playing Zelda of course. He’s really into that game. I’m glad I bought it for him. It keeps him busy, especially in the car!

We yakked and talked about a lot of stuff. World events, liberalism vs conservatism, the city, shopping, photography, sewing, The DAR, and about a dozen other things. It’s nice to get some good adult conversation! Let the braincells work!

While playing apparently Dexter, who is three, filled his diaper so he ripped it off. Hey sounds good to me, I bet he’s close to potty training! Well in come my two “Dexter took his DIAPER off!!! He’s NAKED!” So of course we run outside and he’s dancing through the yard shaking his booty and giggling and no one could catch him. So of course I ran and got my camera and took some pictures. Yes they are all tasteful because I hate pictures that people take where it shows well, private stuff. There were a couple where he turned and I got more than I wanted but those are deleted now. I know some parents like said pictures. That’s fine, but I do not so I do not purposefully take them. But I got a couple of him that are great. I edited the best one and made it sepia and then made another very artsy looking. All soft focus and brush stroked and stuff.

Caroline and I took Caramon and Dexter to Ritz and got the pictures developed. So mum had me print a couple of others. Plus I printed one of Zeke, another friend’s baby, that I had taken with my camera sepia filter. Needed to add it to my portfolio. Originally I was going to keep the sepia of Dexter but Caroline loved both so she bought both off me. (I had put them on one ticket.)

While waiting we took the kids to Starbucks and got them muffins and us steamers. She’d never had a steamer but loved it. So I have spread the love of non-coffee drinks to yet another! Go me!

Then it was home. Joram had gone with mum to the grocery store to help her shop and he had talked her into all kinds of “goodies” and into letting him play Diablo. Bwahahaha, his druid is now able to turn into a were-bear and let me tell you he is just excited as ANYTHING over this!

Not much else going on. No cleaning done today. Of course I cleaned until way late last night.

I tell you what, I’m ready for a day off. LOL I have enjoyed the Clean Sweeping and I like the house much more now but whew… I’m getting tired! HAHA

Oh and my knee still hurts!
