Mum bagged up another book bag! Now there’s an empty shelf on the first book case. I keep having her go and take out more books. I think this makes four or five bags? Anyway there’s a whole shelf with absolutely nothing on it! Wow! Of course the shelf above it quad stacked. As in the books are stacked two high. And then there’s another two high in front of it! LOL. Um… doing better mum but let’s try to get away from quad stacking!! LOL
I’m proud of her though. I do need to pick up some stuff to throw crap in. Do like they do on clean sweep. Move everything to one location to sort through. We have the AmVets (I think…) coming on Wed. We got a flyer in the mail. So we need to go in overdrive because hey, they are coming to US so let’s try to get lots of stuff ready so we dont’ have to take!
Today we do have a full truck to take to donate. WOOHOO. Go us. So after I drop off the kids we are doing that. Not sure what other errands we have but we actually have till noon today unlike yesterday where we only had till 10:45. So I’m hoping our errands for this week can be just about completed today.
OK, time to go get busy busy busy!

actually I did a round a few months ago – this is another one. This time I’m going through my mountainous to be read pile and looking at it realistically. Am I EVER really going to read that book? Doesn’t matter why I bought it. If I’m really not going to read it – out it goes. Prolly need to do another round through my “library” too. Actually I have enough to gather the bags together to get mom to drag em to the bugtussle library again (which is what I did with the last round of book purge).

You go girl. Books are hard to deal with. You don’t want to get rid of them but you really should. Share the wealth and all that. I told mum she needs to think of the ones that mean the most to her. That’s what the guy says on Clean Sweep. Well every book I pick up she says “Oh but that is near and dear to my heart!” LOL. Really though, she’s doing a good job. She just needs to do more. 🙂

HEHEHE – If it helps – I donate mine to the local library and the library sells them in used book sales to raise money to buy more books for the library. So if she gives her books to the library/friends of the library she’d be using her “darlings” for a great cause.

That’s good. She’s been giving them to the hospice and the hospital thrift store. Next week they will go to amvets. I think I will bring up the library idea. I don’t know what our library does. What a great idea!
