I’m hungry… dinner wasn’t very filling. So I say, “I’m really hungry. Mum, is there any more of those grapes left?’
Mom says, “Yeah I washed them and they are on the stove.”
Hubby says, “Wouldn’t you rather have popcorn or pudding or something?”
I say, “Not really.” I mean I actually LIKE grapes. I actually LIKE fruit. LOL. He gives me a really weird look. Then went into the kitchen and made himself a bowl of sugar cereal.
I like fruit. I actually don’t like junk food. The only pudding I actually like is vanilla. LOL But I’m not a huge fan of popcorn. I get it at the theatre and it is the only way I like it. It has that liquid butter and doesn’t get stuck in my throat. But even then, I only tolerate it. I really like it mainly because when a movie is tense it gives my hands something to do and it fills my tummy. LOL
Funny enough, mum’s ears perked up. Popcorn? She’s polished off most of a bag already! HEHE

You have such a funny family! If I’m to be kidnapped by you, you’ll have a rival for the fruit!

It gets old being the only person around here who enjoys GOOD food.
I told my mum today I think the reason DH is so picky about food and says good stuff tastes funny is because he doesn’t know that what he is tasting is the taste of GOOD food. The man lives off junk!! LOL

Baked chicken and mashed potatoes. There was some other stuff like okra and tomatoes and fruit, but I didn’t eat it.

Yucky. I used to love it when I was a kid, but I ate it too much, and now I don’t.
