Dad got a flat last night so today we took his car to get the tire fixed. My car needed an oil change and an air filter so we took care of that as well.

I decided i wanted one of those canvas hanging shelvey thingies for the closet. Got one and guess what? Can’t use it. Velcro to hang on a rod. You have to be kidding me. No rods. *SIGH*

Got stuff together for our trip to Jersey for the weekend. All is well.

Mainly I just kind of worked slowly. That’s fine. Kind of nice to not be running like mad. Not to say we didn’t do stuff but anyway.

Mum did get me to pull down her serger and she took care of some fabric I had picked up yesterday so now I have a nice blueish sheer sarong to use as a beach cover up. Good deal as I think we are hitting hte shore on Saturday.

Mum did some excellent work. She got this bookcase out of the spare room and a bunch of the stuff moved out of the living room and into there. Not much more to go! Yay! There’s more stuff to go to the thrift store.

I’m kind of excited and stressed at the same time about NJ. Traveling is always stressful.

I did log onto compaq tech help to ask about my laptop. The thing drives me crazy because the ac adapter isn’t working right (we think). So I’ll be sitting here and it goes “AC… battery… AC… battery” Earlier it was just doing this when no one was near it and it was on a desk. How odd.

OK, time to go to bed. We leave for Jersey right after VBS so I’m not sure when I’ll be on next. I will backdate as soon as I can. I never did even get a cord for using my cell with the laptop for modemy purposes.
