So I flashed my bios. Now my computer doesn’t seem to jump ac/battery/ac so much. However it did NOT fix the DVD player for burned DVDs. HMMM.
Will see how laptop power thingy goes this weekend. Wish I knew how to fix the dvd… I cannot find a driver anywhere. Oh well.
Dropped kids off at VBS and ran to Micheal’s today. I got a 20 dollar frame for a picture for FIL for only 10 bucks. It looks nice. I framed a picture of him and Caramon, Joram, and Connor that I had photoshopped and printed. It looks rather nice. I hope he likes it! I also picked up some cardstock since it was such a great deal and I found a 40% off coupon so I picked up the Crop In Style 12×12 paper holder. Excellent! Very happy with it. I have the 8×10 size that Caramon won for me at school two Christmas’s ago. But I scrapbook with 12×12 so I needed one for my 12×12 papers. Especially since I’ve found some marvelous sales so I’ve been stocking up! 🙂
They also had grommets on sale so I picked up some of those. This time I got cutesy shapes. Jecka, I’m going to try to use them! I swear! 🙂 I also picked up the grommet hammer they had there since I had the tool but not the hammer. Why they sell one without the other is beyond me. But I don’t have The Bugcrusher Dictionary anymore so I needed something! 🙂
I spent way too much money, but that’s OK. I definatley won’t need cardstock any time soon!! 🙂 YAY!
OK, now I must finish packing so I can get things ready to go. We’re leaving right after we eat lunch! Picking up Sir Megabyte at the Pentagon and heading on out! Hopefuly early enough to be on the beginning side of traffic! Ugh traffic in the district! AUGHHHH

A grommet is like a fastner, a ring and stub that fit together. Almost like a button on jeans (actually I think it Is the same, but according to craft people It Isn’t).
And the hammer os used to pinch then together, or secure them so It Is closed.

I’m not sure why since eyelet is a type of lace. *SHRUG* So I rebel and still call them grommets. I think “grommet” is more european or something, but I could be wrong. LOL.

It’s just a building. I know a lot of people who work there. I watched the fireworks from the parking lot about 11 years ago. I mean yeah it’s cool and all, but when you drive by it 1000 times it tends to lose its edege. 🙂
Funny thing was my husband and I were just talking about this very thing. I half the time call it the ‘gon. ROFL. He was saying that when he first found out he’d be on the project there he thought that was the coolest thing ever. NOw he’s all like “Eh…” since he goes and sits there eveyr day! LOL But it’s really just a giant office complex. 🙂
BTW I haven’t posted yet but the exits were screwed up so I ended up driving all the way aroudn the bloody building three times trying to find the particular parking lot my husband was meeting me at. GRRRR. He’s like “Where are you?” I said “Well I’m going by the solar panels where the big crane is.” and then he’d be like “Now where are you” and I’m like “Well I’m…” ROFL. I hate that dumb building right now. Ok, just the roads. LOL.
