Now that I’m able to have my website I have a new album titled LANDSCAPES. I’m putting all my nature/landscapy pictures in there. So far it doesn’t have a whole lot because I’m still working up to finishing updating the pictures on my website. I have from May and let’s face it, I’ve taken a LOT of pictures since then! I mean there was the baseball game, the pool day at caliban27‘s parents house, end of school, moving, a friend’s birthday party, some photography ventures of my own, WildWood, and last week’s trip to PA. Whew…

So I was talking to Amy today and she says she actually knows the guy teaching the Germana classes. He works for the local paper. She said she was going to take him since he was teaching them. She says he’s the best photographer there. She says she’s worried about them being too basic. But she is hoping since she knows the teacher he might throw her some extras if it is too basic.

But she’s taking both. The FLS just gave her a digital camera and are expecting her to use it for photography but she hasn’t a clue how to use it. So she’s going to take the digital class even though she doesn’t think it is quite what she wants. We talked about taking the classes together. She said if I do take the 35mm that I can share her 35 she has. So that might work out. And at least we could go together. She’s going to talk to the guy some more to see. Apparently she told him she was going to sign up for the classes but he made a comment saying they were very basic and she could probably teach the class. But she did not know if that was said in jest or not. We’ll see. At least if we did it together and it is too basic we would be together so hopefully not bored out of our skulls.

So we’re going to discuss it a bit and talk to our husbands. See what is in our budget and all that.

We are trying to set up a time to go out shooting soon though. She and I both want to scout good locations. Also we are going to swap doing family portraits for each other as we both want some new ones. Sure I could go pay Walmart 10 bucks and get their package, but if I can do something better, yay! And better yet, this would allow for us being able to taylor the packages to our families as we both have odd families that don’t seem to fit the package “norm”. Also, since we both enjoy photography it would give us ways to hopefully improve our skills.

BTW I’m watching Kill Bill and it is VERY odd. Don’t think I’d recommend it. Very very very odd.
