The workers wrapped up the heat pump/ac deal today. YAY! Now we have a big gaping hole on the one side that must be repaired but all is done.

I went out shooting again today. I took pictures of Old Salem Church and the graveyard next to it. I haven’t pulled the pix off yet. I’ll do that later. There was a battle there of course so I took a couple pictures of the signs as well that discuss the battle there. This town. I swear you can’t go five steps without being on a battlefield.

We picked up our framed stuff from Michael’s today. Mine turned out AWESOME! I love it! I did well with the black matte and white frame. They did a great job so I’m very happy. Mum’s turned out beautiful. I think her matte was beautiful but it is the exact colour of the border of her piece so it kind of gets lost, but the matte is so beautiful that it makes up for it.

We cruised to home depot trying to find pieces for updating the house. No real progress there.

I did talk to her about ways we could update her bedroom for a good amount. I mean geeze, she doesn’t have 3k for furniture which I swear was what ever store was telling us but they update and make stuff look great all the time on Clean Sweep and Trading Spaces and While You Were Out and stuff for 1k. So I don’t see why if we were really careful and worked really hard that we cannot do the same thing. We’ll go out investigating this option soon. That’s just me though, I hate spending money. Especially that much.

I’ve been playing with photoshop but I haven’t found anything that I really like. I have a picture of my FIL with all of his grandsons. I’d like to do like the one I did at Christmas. But I’m not sure what I want to do. First of all I’m having trouble getting the people totally out of the background. But the biggest issue is that I can’t figure out what I want o do to change the background. If ANYONE has any idea, let me know. If anyone wants to know I’m working with the following photo.

I think I’m going to go pull out my 12 or so pictures from today. Then I am going to try an idea that caliban27 had for a neat effect. I have a hard time pulling one piece out well from the background. We’ll see how I do with these pictures… If I end up with something, I’ll post it.

I’m feeling very much the non inspired.
